Forgiveness is one thing. Reconciliation is another. There were people I chose to forgive, but because they continued to display hurtful, toxic behaviors towards me, I felt the need to distance myself from them. I will still pray for them.
14:00 This is the heart of the conversation, the lesson. Then the take away scripture- Romans 12:2 @17:10. I would write it but I encourage you to look it up and read for self. I plan to memorize it. Thank you Chrystal for your podcast. You are really blessing me. You are my big sis I wish I had in my life growing up. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude. Blessings to Shundria and RIH Wynter. PS: I just discovered this channel and watching/learning even as an adult. Blessings
Ohhhh wow.... that's so good. We sometimes don't re-decide about things we've written off in our place of hurt after we've lived through it and grown in God. We need to make it our business to re-decide after God has converted us and opened the eyes of our hearts. Oh....this is good.
Just watched all 3 of these episodes with Shundria and Wynter. Such good, solid, godly talk, and so bittersweet to see Wynter again. Thank you again Chrystal for your sister circle show and I continue to pray for the Pitts family--and your family too💖🕇. Be blessed abundantly everybody ❤.
Chrystal - This three part series was amazing! Your wisdom you shared in the last 5 minutes of part three is life changing. I never thought being intentional about re-deciding. I know I've been re-creating many parts of my life but to make re-deciding the way you all teased it out is different and equally if not more so important. CHRYSTAL when you said " I decided to believe that I am capable"! WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Thank you Lord for saying these EXACT words through Chrystal. Job well done. Also Wynter has a presence that's almost other-worldly.
I just love this platform and your family. The self-care that is taught is always tied into what pleases God and how He can be edified in our lives. Thank you for your obedience to God but also to the gifts and talents that are within you. Who knew the purchase of your book "She's Still There" would spark this fire in my heart to be healed and free? God is so faithful!
These conversations are such a blessing to me. I too have a husband that been ill for 3 years now and it’s been tough. Thank you. I would love to hear more about how you’ve handled motherhood, marriage, and finances since he’s been sick.
Love this! There are 2 parts to forgiveness- PART 1) Sending the offense & offender away from us into God's hands. K.I.R. Keep It Real in our confession to God, ask by the power of the Holy Spirit to help us release the offense from our hearts. (One thing I try to always remember in these moments is how much "OFFENSE" God has forgiven ME for through Jesus Christ.) PART 2)- Reconciliation-keep a prayerful mind & heart that we are obeying God not because it feels good but because obedience brings God's peace & blessing to us. He clears our conscience so that we are ready if the offender ever comes back to us & asks for forgiveness to grant it to them, as God has done for us, & if they never return to reconcile relationship we are right w/God in placing the offense into HIS hands at the same time trusting Him for his Divine healing- when they cross our paths, we have the HS who helps us love with the love of the LORD.
What if the pattern of behaviour you need to forgive is your mean BOSS, and you’re certain for now God wants you to stay put; how do u forgive, let go, move on repeatedly w/o excusing on the one hand, but not harbouring resentment on the other hand?

Girls were talking to me deep in this video. Thanks
I love the videos Wynter is in.
Forgiveness looks different with each person. Sometimes, we need help to process and move on.

Tfs! I love the topic of redeciding!
Forgot to add that we hav 2 small girls and I’m a special education teacher. It’s been tough physically and emotionally.
Oh no. I always leave cabinet doors open! Two are open now!! Yikes!!
ive noticed she didn't answer, how to deal with someone you've decided to forgive, but they are still involved with you on a regular.
You must forgive yourself for allowing it to happen
