    "How can God heal what you won't admit is painful?" Great, thought-provoking question! Love this lady, her story, her wisdom, her family! Blessings...

    Let the redeemed say so! Chrystal you are not only articulate like your dad, but you appear to be very methodical. You handled these questions with poise and confidence. I’ve just began following you and I love you and how you display the inner you; strong, resilient and undaunted. I could listen to you for hours. May the grace of God always shine upon you as you carry on your parents legacy. again you handled those
    questions with wisdom and grace. You did your parents well!

    Tearfully blessed by this. Just on a the tail end of a season where many dreams seem to have died. However, trusting Him now to guide me and know his will and order is perfect. Starting to dream again.

      Kelly C. I sense your pain. Disappointing surprise turns will continue to put you in places foreign to you. Abraham was believed GOD and it was accounted unto him as righteousness. As an experienced soldier still startled by the culture shock of being in a place I never could have anticipated, remember JESUS gives us enough grace for each day.....best to take only moment by moment at a time in HIM. HE is able to keep those things (dreams) entrusted unto HIM.

    Years ago, our dreams fell and broke. We've been trying hard to find a new normal. It's been difficult. Our hearts are hurt and we're weary. We DO NOT like this. Still, we stand in Christ. He's our HOPE. We know there's a better tomorrow. TYFS. (Chrystal makes my heart smile)

    Like the song from casting crowns “ it’s a slow fade when you give yourself away , it’s a slow fade , black and white turn to gray , thoughts invade , choices made , the price will be paid when you give yourself away , people never crumble in a day , it’s a slow fade .....”

    I can definitely agree with her on that identity crisis. I grew up in church faithfully. Then as I got older I started saling drugs, doing drugs catching case after case to where even now it's hard for me to see who I really am cuz the real me wouldn't have done the things that I've done.

    Just do something. Something. A micro step. Write it down. Gather the dry wood with the intention of starting a fire. Feed it . You can turn an entire ship with a rudder. A very small piece of a ship. God has shown me all these things through revelation already. It's a daily fight and choice to DO. That's why the word says WRITE THE VISION. I looked it up and it means , like a BILLBOARD.

    Empty-nest divorces may have more to do with the death of a marriage years ago, but the woman kept it together for her kids until the kids were grown.

    • @rebeccaoprea9917
      @rebeccaoprea9917 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Heather Pomponi doesn’t make it right . Marriage is not supposed to be child centered but it is , marriage in parenting years is an uphill, intentional road to make it work through those years .

    • @heatherpomponi2945
      @heatherpomponi2945 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rebecca Oprea , I wanted to offer a secondary perspective so that Focus on the Family could understand how to reach people struggling through this. Thanks.

    We do need to take every thought captive and guard our heart and mind, and watch our negative self talk....we can beat ourselves up so bad, yes..renew our mind and saturate ourselves in Gods Word, refresh and check our thoughts, feelings, views... everything up against scripture. What does our Heavenly Father say about who we are? We are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God!
    Keep perspective, when something seems impossible, remember that you can’t do it alone, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, and what seems or even is impossible for us, is certainly not with God! Nothing is impossible or too hard for God!
    Search out in scripture, what does God about this?
    We need to create some time and space to figure things out and be able to reflect and meditate in the Word, be in prayer and praise God! Jesus knocks, are we answering or ignoring his knock?
    Teachable life lessons are great!
    Car story wax cute, trying to get the chocolate bar, running off the road! Lol!
    Drifting little bit by little bit... loosing track of what you want to do, starting a new... not sure where your going, what your doing... what passions did God give you ? Just take one step at a time.
    Choose 3 things to move forward in a 90 day time period.

      Seraiah D. J Thank you so much for your prayers and encouragement!
      I am already a born-again believer and follower of Christ, but thanks for being concerned about my soul.
      I was getting frustrated because I keep hearing about people who had dreams, but dreams died or the people got off track. But nothing about those who never dreamed in the first place. The Holy Spirit has been opening my eyes to things and even that it’s okay to dream. I have read your message and received what you’ve e shared and have begun praying accordingly. God bless you, my sister.

      I will say with assurance if you feel this, you are becomming ready to conceive. "MORE are the children of the desolate than those of the married wife. Sing oh barren! Yours is a dream stirred and planted by GOD HIMSELF. More glory for HIM! "I AM THE RESSURECTION AND THE LIFE AND SHE WHO BELIEVES IN ME, THOUGH DEAD, SHALL LIVE!" He has held on to your dream for such a time as this. And it fits you so naturally.
