Random fact but the first time I entered the cave I forgot I had the amount of dinos on the island set to 2.5x so the amount of dinos inside the cave was actually insane.

I did this cave with a few tek rexes. Space was tight in some areas, but it was doable. I first tried using shadowmane, but the last tumnel to the artifact was blocked by polar bears and yetis
To do any cave extremely easily just tame a megatherium and walk through. No Dino’s will attack you
Same works for the Dinopithecus, aka the "Terrible Ape"

Me and my friends SEVERELY underestimated this cave and almost got wiped out by purlovias and polar bears 😂

We built in this cave on official and it is the best pvp spot in the game, its freezing cold and you can set up so many death walls its unbelievable.

I use to play ark on console. Got pretty good couple of wyvrnns and Rexes and other decent Dino’s. I was about level 80. I forgot about the game and moved on. Even though I had all dlcs except for extinction. Now a awhile later I’m built a pc and am deciding if I should start playing ark on their this time.

Well here's hoping my 33! Yes 33 creatures I'm taking with me are enough to get me to the end to nab 2 artifacts. Half are probably going to die but hey at least I'll have lots of empty cryopods and thanks to this video I have directions 😊

Came here for caves location, after reading a few comments, thought I'd best watch BEFORE the attempt.... Attempting it with a yuty and a Allo.

Helpful tip : tame an otter and bring it with you in a cave, that way you can get two artifacts at sametime
what kinda stuff do you feed the yutys to make their breath scare away yetis and wolves? must be something pretty smelly
Would I be able to do it with a yuty 25k health and 600%melee solo or breed a few more or level that yuty more(All with prim saddles)
This cave is actually super easy if you bring in a desmodus at night and just use it's invisibility
Think a high level rex could take on this cave alone or would it be able to fit

Tried this cave today with a bread for boss Rex 60k and 1150 Melee Primitive Saddle by HALF of the cave I was at 50k health and decided to head back due to the cold and couldn't keep running back and forth to be warm could have done it if I had better Fur Armor to keep me warm and stews! - Official Legecy Server PS4

A rex can fit through most of the cave, but there are places too narrow for it, so you have to pod it to get through. If you have a thylo or something else for those spots you should be fine.
Maybe do it solo, since people may not have any friends (available)

This cave was sooo easy to solo run with just grappling hooks back when it only had yetis wolfs and bats now it’s next to impossible with out a tame

depends on the saddle's armor - also, yutys have knockback
Whats Point of yuti if u can just use megatherium or Rex since dinos wont attack them while they Will attack yuti

thyla are the best since purlovia cant take you off mount because they have the same abilitie
you need thyla with 15k hp and 500 mele minimum tho, mine is 21k and 1000 mele official server
@@davenadeau8671 Really?? I have never done the artifact of the strong yet. I did not know purlovias cannot kick you off your thyla. I have some good baby thylas still to raise. I was thinking of Therizinos as well with high melees 1600+. If thylas I'm just going to speed run to the artifact. Maybe a rex at the entrance as guard on my way back.
