I owned a 2013 C63 and it was the best car I have ever owned - sold it a while back as I needed a bigger car for a while but am looking to get a C63 507 now. Mate if you had the updated 7 speed transmission (2012 to 2013) with proper race start you would have been even closer - even if you had it in Sport + auto mode you would have smoked him in the rolling races. To stand a chance from a stop start you'd need fresh tyres and you'd have to warm them up just before race. The old C63 is the best sounding V8 ever IMO. Great video.

Go check out the carwow drag race. The M2 absolutely destroys the RS3 and A45 over the quarter mile. The RS3 still launches harder than all of them though. Also an M240i xdrive with a simple ecu tune will murder all of the above while being much much cheaper.
@e46m54nissansr20937 we all know how quick the RS3 and M2 are. This updated A45s is definitely alot quicker off the line than the current spec. I think this updated spec will give the Rs3 a challenge off the line.
@@tiyani3154 tuning is a whole different ball game. A stock MK8 Golf R is way quicker than the S3 & A35. And those EA888s respond really well to mods. It all comes down to personal preference I guess and each one should just be enjoyed for what it is. Comparison is the thief of joy.
We all know which sounds and looks the best though. 2007 to 2012 AMG engineering is unmatched. Can we have the M156 and M159 again, even if it's for the last time
Despite being a much older car, the interior of the C63 looks more lux than the newer A45S. Incredible how much power that M139 engine in the A45S pushes out to the wheels.

We all love the Old Roar but in reality the Petrol Station Roars louder . still wished the classes would be A - 2L , C - 3L , E and above 4L V8
After almost 3 decades of drag racing, in my opinion, the best rubber on the road is Bridgestone Potenza. Potholes, shocks and mages fear Bridgestone 's. Coners also. Tried all different types of brands. The worst ever was pilot sport 3's. The side walls is way to soft on the pilot sport for potholes.
Honestly an epic day, it's just a bit tough when it's your baby. But it was fantastic and Ash and the team are just so good at what they do, a pleasure to work with

C63 all day! The A45 is like a bullet but it doesn’t have as much personality as the C63

That 2lt will never last as long as that V8. By the time it's 10 years old, it would cost it's purchase price on engine and gearbox repairs.
