I only wish they would have stuck with the number pad on the keyboard they had on last year's 15" model. I can only assume many people don't use them, but I do. There should be ample room since the 15" had no problem fitting it in.
Sir plz compare the new 12th gen with H processor 16inch spectre give test numbers..... And why type of working we can do on it and should it be compare with MacBook
This is a great 2 in 1 with a great camera and OLED, however the price for this range is way to expensive in comparison to other brands offering new 12th gen and DDR5 ram etc. There is a new version been released soon with 12th gen etc. At the end of the day it depends on what your needs are and how future proof you want to go?
Almost feel bad for going with an itx case and a portable monitor instead of a laptop. These laptops are better these days. Build quality doesn't look bad either.
Thanks for the thorough presentation. I am also looking for something very portable. For 4K-5K video editing in davinci and large video exports, would you rather go with this one or with lenovo yoga pro 9i 32GB RAM ? (If macbook is not an option)
I dont understand what gordon says - how much PD foes the usb c support? Only 100? This would be a huge letdown. Lenovo Z16 does charge 135W over USB C. I wont buy any laptop with proprietary charger... So does it only support 100W?
Would something like this handle audio recording? ie Ableton Live 4 or 5 soft synths etc etc. I know some of my more intensive soft synths bog down my old 6500U Spectre quite a bit. But that laptop is like 8 or 9 years old now.
If you notice contrary to the previous model, this model has a gap , when you close it it doesn't close fully thus Causes the laptop not to go to sleep so it keeps being on even after you put it in your bag causing heating issues. Your back starts to heat up. Also when you try to sleep, the laptop since it doesn't shut fully, some light escape from the keyboard , thus causing you to have restless sleep, I wud advice to stay clear until HP updates a refresh version of this laptop.
There's already an OLED Spectre 16 with i7-1260P and Intel Arc A370M and also an IPS model coming with an i7-12700H so this already makes this i7-11390H an outdated model. Don't bother buying it.
Please with the "outdated" processor nonsense. Only fools talk about last years tech being outdated. Ordinary people, businesses, corporations, governments, and nonprofits all keep their computing devices for 5 to 7 years because having the latest CPU does not matter to their daily work. My backup 8th Gen i7 ASUS laptop still runs all my statistical software quickly without any problems. I also own the new 16 inch Spectre x360 with integrated graphics and there is ZERO perceptible difference between the two laptops in terms of real life work tasks. Moreover, my Spectre's Geekbench 5.4 single core score is in the low 1600s and the i7-1260p is in the low 1700s. Which again means there is no difference in performance for doing office or school work which is what at least 95% of people across the planet use their laptops for.

@@omegamalkior1874 don't be a dick. RK makes some good points. I doubt the gen 12 processor would make much of a difference in day-to-day use by non-gamers, and people not doing coding or video editing. For web browsing, streaming video, and photoshop, this OLED panel, great keyboard, 2-in-1, strong battery life, 16" 16:10 ratio screen, this unit fits the bill perfectly.
