Hallo, i have a question, maybe you would know or have some experience with it, i would like to do Hospitation/clinical shadowing/ work as a Gastärztin in Anaesthesiology Department in Switzerland. Do i have to mail MEBEKO or can i directly email the hospital i want to the clinical shadowing. I am EU citizen, with a non EU Degree and have a B2 German cert, thank you so much for answering :)
Hi Shanyce, you can try first to acquire the EU Citizenship first. if not possible then you can apply fo a field with high demand in Switzerland like psychiatry
Hello. I am 5th year student and I want to become dermatologist or ophthalmologist. Love both equally and would pick one that comes first. Switzerland is goal for me definitely, so I am wondering if there is any real possibilty to get those right away? If not, I do not mind starting elsewhere (Austria or Germany), with goal to get one of those specialities. I speak Swedish (mother tongue), Bosnian (father tongue) and Turkish. Have been studying german, around B2 at the moment but I still have two years to improve + I have 8 months of experience in plastic surgery department in Graz. I could get residency in Sweden way easier but since Switzerland is final goal, I think working in german speaking area from the start is best for perfecting language, earlier rather than later ☺️. If I was about to work in Switzerland, would I have to learn other two languages as well? Would not knowing them make problem for me in any way?
Hi, thank you for valuable info! I was wondering as a working physician do you need a permission from the employer for a youtube channel, especially if it's monetized. I have a small channel (not under this username) and was wondering if employers would approve of it 😬 thank you in advance!
Is this based on your experience in 🇨🇭 or is there a website/list that we can check too? Is there a possibility of applying for another specialty when you have already started one of those paths (even if you have to start over)?
@@HayceFamilyKe Thank you very much for the answer! If I start my residency in Germany, for example in Internal Medicine, and then find a job in Switzerland, do you know if they will consider the years I did in germany for my residency programme or do I need to start all over again?
@@HayceFamilyKe Thank you for the answer! Do you know if in Germany I need to do the residency in a university hospital in order to be recognized that period by the FMH? Or can it be any hospital?
Hi VMD, neurology pays well. i would advice you to specialize in electrophysiology. With that specialization you can earn lots of money as a neurologist in Switzerland
