I moved to Dublin Ireland four years ago and was shocked to discover that the police force is not armed. I love that it is a gun-free culture. It is somewhat expensive here but I love the peaceful easygoing atmosphere. No country is completely free of crime and every country on the list has a level of crime, but living in a peaceful country with no terrorist attacks - unlike the UK and France - makes a real difference.
Ireland 🇮🇪 not safe ,medicine and police practically don’t exist Like public transport half of Dublin rough areas full of drugs and scumbags Price of living and housing unbelievable High Can’t wait to move out
It is quite an achievement given Irish history that that's the case here. Ultimately though we are a peaceful race and would have remained so only for outside interference.
I saw a program about Ireland lately and understand that their has been a huge influx of 3th world immigrants last couple of years. In, not so much anymore, my Netherlands that has been and is a huge social and financial problem in, by now, all cities and towns. Not in Ireland ? Or not pc to mention that ? I visited the whole of Ireland in 1994. We saw 1 black young guy in Dublin on O’Connell street. Coming from Amsterdam we were shocked. I think things have changed in Ireland.
I'm Croatian and can understand why Croatia may be a good choice for digital nomads. The safety is on the very high level comparing to most of the countries in the world. Also, it's a very small country but very diverse so you can go hiking, go to the numerous beaches, islands, visit historical parts of the country and most of the people speak or at least understand English, especially the young generation.

The Hungarian FA have been fined by UEFA many times for such vile behaviour. And then, there are comments on TH-cam saying that Hungary is great because there are no blacks, or moslems, there. Sounds like Nazis to me, although I'm sure there are also many decent Hungarians as well.
@M&G School I have done research on the Internet, which describes much discrimination against minorities such as, gypsies, gay folk, asylum seekers, moslems, and foreigners. Try reading the report of Amnesty International. So, no I don't want to visit such a country.
Japan does have a lot of s*xual crimes that go unreported there. I've lived in the country for 2 years, and heard many stories of perverts going around flashing themselves, groping women, or stealing underwears, more than my three decades spent in Switzerland. Real estate agencies go as far as avoiding ground floor apartment for their female tenants because of stolen underwears if they leave them to dry outside. It is pretty safe from grave crimes though.
They've mastered the psychological part of society, so perhaps all potentially problematic ones unalive themselves (as far as I am aware, Japan has a very high su1c1d3 rate). So perhaps there's noone holding a gün or using it, but the other aspects of living there apparently make it psychologically unsafe to the individual since that is the result.

This was a very informative video. However, I do wish that you had included in your assessment some measure of diversity or even attitudes towards diversity. Part of feeling safe in visiting or even living in a country is feeling comfortable. The way to assess this for many people is how the country feels about diversity. We are living in a global world as well as a diverse one, and it's not something that should be taken for granted or ignored because it is a factor for some folks especially as it relates to personal safety. So, if you do future videos on this, I hope you consider it. Thanks
@catsamazing338 Diversity is not an either or. It exists on a continium like all the factors that was covered in the video. For example: None of these countries are crime free. They are different levels, same with diversity. They are all on a continum, hence why they can be ranked from high to low

An observation: several countries here once belonged to the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Did anyone else notice?
The way I see it, people living in that part of the world had their fair share of military conflicts, and now they're just tired of it and moved on.

Ireland 🇮🇪 not safe ,medicine and police practically don’t exist

Many countries have unarmed police forces, including the UK and NZ.
