- This is a little glimpse into what a day looks like for homeschooling our 3 year old and 1 year old. We have a pretty relaxed approach to preschool and all learning. I try to make things fun and playful for our kids and encourage learning as a part of that. We of course have some structured things that we do every day, so this is a little inside peak at how that happens.

Winner of a video, I've been looking for "how to teach a child how to read and write" for a while now, and I think this has helped. I'm shook that she said "consonant"!! You are doing AMAZING. My daughter is almost two and isn't saying any words and I feel like I have been doing something wrong ): I'm really working on trying to reduce our screen time and implement more learning activities! This video helps so much!!
Just keep talking to her. I felt the same way. My son has an ipad and looks at the flash cards and try to say the words. It might not be the screen but what they are watching.
Lots of reading and talking. And don’t compare your child to other children. Your baby is still little and it’s normal. But if your concerned seek a specialist maybe
@@jjgems5909 I try not to compare my child to other children, but it is hard when the pediatrician keeps talking about all these milestones my kids should be hitting. They referred us to a speech therapist because she should have been speaking sentences by 2 years old apparently. We decided to just keep doing what we are doing and stay patient. She is starting to show more interest in talking more now that she is almost 3

One of the best homeschool vids for 3 year olds iv seen. Extremely structured and closest to what im trying to achieve. Your child is brilliant, very advanced and that she can go upto to an hour or an hour and a half is awesome!
I used to help teach preschool at church but that was many years ago and now my oldest is 3 and my youngest is 2... its time for me to convert my extra area into a classroom and this was a great video for me to find on what I need!!!! I subscribed and can't wait to steal routines, worksheets and overall how you do everything!!!

That’s a great “All About today” chart. I used to have a wooden one but it was smaller and simply not so great. It’s always great to see and share what we as moms do to help support our children’s education. You are doing such a great job!

Yeah, this video has inspired me to seriously crack down on homeschooling my 3-year-old and 2-year-old. My 3-year-old has already learned to read, “me,” “like,” and “you,” and I just started on Monday. I wish that I would’ve started so much earlier! He still can only count to 12. 😬

Its possible kids are super absorbent at young age my child like hers is reading at age 3 too we are super relaxed only 5-10min of schooling. Keep at im sure many moms can make it happen.

This is my favourite homeschooling mom channel on TH-cam. I’m not completely homeschooling, my 3year old just started school but it’s more for socialising and play. I want to spend 30-40 mins with him everyday teaching him. You are such an inspiration. You are doing a great job, I keep coming back to your channel and rewatch your older videos to see what all can be done.

Omg her little face when she said consonant 😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️ i went back and forth on homeschooling for so long and by the time I hadn’t yet decided, it was time for kindergarten lol. We did a lot of stuff similar for preschool at home though. And not to be tooting my own horn but it made a huge difference with Avery’s skills going into a classroom with other kids. It was all basic stuff but made a big impact!
Amanda Alexander she just started saying which one is a consonant or vowel during this video. So she was super excited haha. That is awesome that you did so much with Avery at home before kindergarten. I’m sure she felt confident starting school, since she had such a positive learning experience with you! 🤗

This video has helped me big time I’m 29 with a brain injury raising my 2 & 4 year old daughters. My husband is going to start driving big rigs are I’ll be a single mom 😜 while he’s on the road. We have no one around us to help. This has given me an idea on how to structure our day.

Thank you! All children learn at different paces. So many children can be ahead in different ways too! it's difficult not to worry once you see how other kids are learning, but you are doing an amazing job I'm sure.

I home schooled only for a year until it was necessary for me to put my children back into public school - they were years ahead of their peers when they tested out .

Look into clothe books, fabric books. I would give them a few and not worry about them getting hurt, or books getting torn and they are very fun too. Lots of things to do per book. I had one that had animals, shapes, colours, opposites, couting all in 1 book

Awesome job! I am currently homeschooling with my little one who will be 3 in a month. We do "morning basket" for 20 minutes and the rest of the day is learn through play. If he says "Let's do school" i pull out some books and read while he colors a bit.

I get email subscriptions and have a whole Pinterest board dedicated for this, yet this was my very time utilizing TH-cam and you were the first video I clicked on. I became 1000% more intrigued/ appealed to your video within 35 seconds. At first I was very intimidated because routines, in general, are very foreign to me. However, my main mom goal is to change that for my son, so to hear you say “can’t believe I look like this on the internet, but this is real life so 🤷🏻♀️” ; gave me instant relief;
HAHAHA YES! Also, routines are great to keep us on track, but don't become trapped by your routine. Give yourself grace when you need it. I am so glad you found my video useful and appealing. I appreciate that so much.

We’re in a bit of a financial bump right now and we don’t think we’ll be taking our daughter to preschool so I decided to try looking into homeschooling and your video being the first one was such a great idea lol you showed so much and seeing how smart (and happy) your daughter is definitely makes me want to try!
Wow! This is so inspiring. I have a three year old, one year old and am currently 7 months pregnant. I’ve started homeschooling recently and it has been very challenging while pregnant and keeping the one year occupied. Any tips for what to do with the younger one?
wow congrats! I would focus most of our learning while the younger one is napping, that way there were less distractions. Or if she was awake, I would have the pack and play there with all her favorite toys to keep her entertained without getting too far.
I think I understand when you said: "is scary," but it the best thing you can do for your child. I think you are doing superb!
This is amazing! I’m starting homeschool with my 4 year old this fall and I’ve been looking a video to give me some ideas about how to do it. This just gave me so many ideas and peace of mind. Lol I was so scared about it but I feel more excited about it now

Yeah my son will be 4 in November and we are only to letter G just taking our time lol
all kids learn differently and at different paces. have patience and in time things will become easier!
My son is 17 months and not even calling me mama yet! What's going on here in this video?! But I try to tell myself every kid is different no need to rush them. but I am so impressed and learn so much here.

Thanks so much. I've been homeschooling for 6 years but that also means I kind of forgot how we got started. Haha. I have two little girls the age of your girls in this video and this helped jog my memory of how I can incorporate a little bit of routine for the preschool age. :) My 3 year old is SO eager to "do school" like her big brother.

@@letsbereal9432 I know, im just saying she is smarter for kids her age. Almost evrey baby is smart and diffrent, im just saying that my brother goes to Pre - K and he still does not know this much. I mean she already knows what a constant and vowel is!
Thank you. Yes it is great to recognize the wonderful differences in all our children. I see so many differences even in my own two girls. That is why I love homeschooling. I can focus and prioritize certain subjects they may be weaker in.
