If you want to see an updated video on how I homeschool my little girl... she's now 3 years old ❤... video is here: th-cam.com/video/x4hs1gdE0tQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=64wTTUGKfezvG_ki
She’s cracking me up! “Fifi is very silly!” I love seeing her joy and energy! My youngest is six, but she still has some of that unbridled enthusiasm for learning. It’s such a challenge to lean into that and not rush ahead so I can do all the things with the other kids. Great job, mama! This was so fun to watch!
I loved this video so much. Had me laughing so hard! I loved hearing you do the nursery rhymes, that is something I stuggle with so much because I can never keep the tune so I skip it instead.
Gina i love your t shirt! "Alexa, homeschool the kids!" I actually love all the tshirts you wear that are homeschool related! Did you make it yourself? Love the video!
This video was absolutely perfect! I couldn’t figure out a way to engage my son. His toy friends are going to be perfect! Couldn’t find a link to the posters.. can you please share? I love them!
Hey Gina, Happy Saturday. I love pointers when working with young kids especially if they are three like I am working with in daycare. ❤ This video will help me get tips when working with my three years old at my job as well even if I’m not home schooling them. We teach them things at the daycare as well such as numbers, letters, how to play nicely with others and how to share, etc. ❤ your daughter is just too cute, I love watching you homeschool her. ❤ I keep forgetting at this age you can’t read because there were the names on the sheet underneath them but they’re not old enough to read so she knows all of this. ❤ I’m not good with teaching or working with two or three years old because I’m the youngest in my family and I don’t have any kids of my own yet, so do you have any tips for me?
I'm so glad this was helpful! I filmed this when she was 2 but she just turned 3. I would say that every child is different, and it took some time for her to master some concepts... for example, her numbers... and I found a way that was fun for her to learn. But not every 2-3 year old will have an interest in learning these concepts yet, and that's okay! All children are different, and being able to be flexible with learning is key ❤️ that's awesome that you work with young kids! Love that!
Love this, she’s doing amazing! Love the ideas for my son as he’s going on 2. I think I may also steal your idea about having her be the teacher to her stuffed animals, I think that might be helpful for my kindergartner, she really wants to be in control over things which can be kinda of challenging sometimes but I think this would motivate her.
This video was so helpful thank u! I’m going to start homeschooling my almost autistic 4 year olds would you say you follow the posters and then just elaborate or do you have any other good teaching techniques?
This video was filmed awhile ago but I have a new video that I will be sharing soon with even more fun and engaging ways I teach my daughter! she's 3 now... and this was just one day... I'll be sharing more soon! Hopefully in the near future! It will be a follow up video with even more fun activities :) (while learning through play!
I did :) here is the link. I got it from Amazon and its the preschool one and they seem to have changed it a bit as I got it years a go amzn.to/453CXJa
Hallo Gina, thanks alot for this lovely and inspiring video. I did like to start homeschooling my 19mo and I've searched for poster boards online. Unfortunately, all I could find were too busy and complicated . Yours is the best I've found 😍😂💃💃💃💃💃. How can I get them please? I don't live in USA.
What are you using as the follow along smal poster sheets that are laminated? The one where you switch from “Days of the month” to “seasons” etc? I’m looking through the links you provided in your description but I cannot find it and I would love this !
Yeah, she'll call me out. If I don't do some one on one time with her 😅 she'll be like, "When is my time to homeschool? "... she just has too much fun learning! There is no need to do anything formal... I call this more fun than anything else! 😊 it's a just a routine we started and it's fun so just in case any other moms are in the same boat ... I like sharing!
@@lifewithginabmine had to have a bookbag like the other two do. She tells me to fill it with her random toys and books. Then she poses for it to be put on as if she is a student herself. 😂 She will be 4 in February so we will see where she is in the winter. If she wants it I will do it. For now she goes through the motions and walks away.
How did you teach her to talk so well at 2? My 2 year old talks but its hard to understand. Since she was born i kept baby talk to a minimal and have always spoke yher and with her like an adult. I sound words out and constantly work with her on it. At around 9 or 10 months she had good and clear vocabulary. For some odd reason she regressed and completely quit talking until a few months after her first birthday. She is very smart. She knows mainly capital abcs 123s shapes colors and so much more but her vocabulary isn't as clear as your 2 year old. Do you have any advice on this subject matter? I apologize if this comment is sloppy written my phone is messing up.
Hey love!! Sorry for the late reply! So I don't think I did anything special. I think just having 2 talkative older brothers helped a lot! Lol I know my oldest didn't talk as much at this age but he didn't have siblings. My 2 youngest were both early talkers... I sometimes think it's bc of homeschooling and being around kids of different ages. My oldest was only around kids his age.
I try to but it's hard! The way my kids learn the best is when they are either grandma and grandpa speaking Portuguese with them! That's how my first son learned so well. Now that my mom has moved close to us the kids are picking up Portuguese so well!
