The green tolman does self tender. Although, I only raised the stringers 2 1/2" above spec, it wasn't enough for all the extra weight I put in the stern. Water will come in when a big guy like me fishes in the stern. (especially in a following heavy sea) Ping pong ball scupper flaps eliminate most if not all water entering, but lets water exit. I do have a large bilge pump under the deck, but has never been used. I would have to hole the boat to get any water under the deck. The red tolman does not have scuppers and uses a bilge pump to get rid of fish blood/water. There is a build thread on fishyfish.com titled 'Southern Maryland Jumbo' for the green Tolman. The red Tolman has a build thread on the bassbarn and woodenboat forums.
@@cj8mule Awesome. Those are some awesome boats you guys built. I recognize Dave Nolan's red one. If it was me I'd have to have a hull that self bailed! How long did your build take?
Got any new videos of your tolman?
None from this year yet. I'll try and get some more of the "Uncle Keith" while out tuna fishing.
What kind of seat do you have behind the wheel?
It's a squeaky suspension seat from tractor supply. Costs $109.

@@jjnb57 It took me 16 months to build and was my first build. I could do it in 12 months now and am planning a build for Feb 2020
@@cj8mule Awesome. Again, great job on the boats. I want to have one myself one day.
Is this a 24 Jumbo?
The red jumbo is just a little shy of 27'. The green jumbo is 27' 1"
@@cj8mule Thanks for you very prompt reply! Great looking boat!
