Nice job. I actually built Renn's widebody just a few years before his passing. I was fortunate to swap a couple of emails with him regarding some mods that I wanted to do. Great man, great book with lots of details and a solid boat once completed.
Hard to say since it was a few years ago. Probably around 300 hours. I've since completed a 24' version of this boat and took 500 hours to complete. That was including welding all the aluminum hand rails, rod holders, and rocket launcher (rod rack on top).
The bottom panels and shelves are lofted onto the plywood. @@cj8mule Robert Storms--- are you preparing to build? About a year ago you said you couldn't wait to build one.... If so, be sure to check out fishyfish.com. There are so many of these being built right now.

@Tommy Evan If I had to do that, I'd just get a new girlfriend!
Muito top! Gostei muito dos detalhes e a perfeição dos acabamentos. Parabéns!
Do the plans from the book "'Tolman Alaskan Skiffs'' give you the plans for the hull build, but also the plans for the cabin build.
Yes, the book has some cabin plans in it. There is also a forum called fishyfish.com that you can find many great examples.
This boat is for the sea? Or only lakes and calm waters? You have plans?
How long did it take to build to this point? Great boat!

how did u measure the 2 bottom panels so that when they are held together they form a curve?

Wooww...Good Job☺
Thank you
Did you use versalam in this or solid lumber?
Lvl... I think versalam is a brand, but same thing. Sourced them locally and had to remove some wax before epoxy
