- Lexus really messed up with the suspension on the GX470!

This improved the ride so much even Lindy noticed it - that says a lot!
In this video, we install a suspension lift kit on a Lexus GX470 and take it off-roading for the first time. The installation process was relatively straightforward and took about a day to complete. We were impressed by the increased clearance and improved off-road capabilities that the lift kit provided.
We take it on its first off-road adventure, hitting the trails and testing out its new capabilities. The suspension performed exceptionally well, tackling rocky terrain, steep inclines, and deep ruts with ease. The additional clearance allowed us to navigate obstacles that would have been impossible with the stock suspension.
The airbags on my Lexus GX470 had been replaced at some time in the life of my GX470 but they just were not cut out for the job! The front struts had never been replaced, nor had the rears. It was time, with 245 000 miles on the clock.
Overall, we were extremely pleased with the performance of the lift kit and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their GX470's off-road capabilities. The ride quality on the road remains smooth and comfortable, but once off-road it's a completely different beast. We can't wait to take it out on more adventures in the future! That’s how I say eibach too! Find any good trail roads out there? I’m moving to Asheville from the southern Rockies with my 04 silver GX but always wondered if the east had as much public land as we have out west. Looks good, especially now in your newer vids 👍
Not too many close to Chattanooga but haven’t really got out yet. Need some skids first for what I want to do. Not much public land out east but there is Windrock and OHV which are great.

Yea, no doubt mine had some mileage on them but a quality coil spring is better than the bags. Mine had new bags anyways.

Guess it’s perfect, so it’s perfect. What’s wrong with it? And no, not damaging the vehicle on purchase but also using it for its purpose and the side steps came off anyways. No real pavement princess needs side steps 😎
