God bless you my precious and dear brother! Thank you for talking about my country Angola and our brothers in Mozambique, it's all ours from Africa.
My pleasure 🙏🏿
@@travelconnect1I enjoy watching your video’s but it’s an insult comparing Luanda with Maputo, why not compare it with Cape Town? Angola is an important country and Luanda is one of Africa’s most important and richest cities unlike Maputo which is a banana republic !
@@pablocharlie I compared them because many of my subscribers are trying to decide if they want to visit Luanda or Maputo. The 2 biggest Portuguese speaking countries in Africa. I think I stated this in the video. This is a comparison video...not a competition.
Proud to be a Mozambican and a Maputo born resident.
🔥🔥🔥

Needed this video. Im going to Maputo(hopefully things cools down) but it was a close one between Luanda/Maputo for me. Ultimately picked Maputo.
I feel you. I've very close. They are both a good time. Some visits I prefer Luanda, and some I prefer Maputo. You can't go wrong with either.
Maaam these beautiful cities make Windhoek look like a tiny village 🤭🤭🤭 I’d definitely love to see Luanda and Maputo after seeing this.❤
Windhoek is definitely tiny in comparison
@@travelconnect1 Luanda is still to expand like a very large city to accommodate the 8 million people there, while Windhoek with a smaller population is more organized
Yes. Managing a population of 500,000 is much easier than managing 8,000,000.
@@travelconnect1 that’s right brother
Come to Maputo ❤
Great concept! I've also been to both of these cities and think we both came to similar conclusions 💪🏾
Thanks fam
Maputo é muitíssimo incrível 🇲🇿🥰❤
Yes it is 😎
I’m going to Luanda in a couple months 🔥
Enjoy!
Welcome to our beautiful country, Angola!
We hope our warm and energetic people will inspire you to return. While you’re here, don’t miss out on experiencing our delicious cuisine, make sure to try traditional dishes like calulu de carne seca or mufete.
Before you leave be sure to attend a traditional Angolan party or nightclub to feel the vibrant energy of kuduro, which truly moves our nation.
We wish you an unforgettable stay and all the best
Excellent Work!!!!
What’s funny is that I did a ChatGPT comparison between Luanda and Maputo and Maputo came out on top! lol!
I think the Ultimate Lusophone Lifestyle Trifecta:
1. Lisbon
2. Florianopolis
3. Maputo
3 Cities, 3 Continents: 1 Language!
Peace! Abel
Very interesting Trifecta. I'll have to add Florianopolis on my list of places to visit. Thanks!
@@travelconnect1 The Lusophone lifestyle is the ultimate way to live my dear Brother, blending rich traditions, vibrant cultures, and deep connections across continents. Imagine a world where every day is filled with delicious food like Brazil’s feijoada, Portugal’s pastéis de nata, and African-inspired dishes like Angola’s moamba de galinha, Mozambique’s peri-peri prawns, or Cape Verde’s cachupa. This is a life where music like samba, fado, kizomba, and morna fills the air with joy, and festivals like Carnival and Santos Populares create unforgettable memories. It is what I want for myself! I just love the language, relaxing people & serene atmosphere!
Peace ✌🏼 Abel 🫶🏼🪷
@@abelreturnstoeden2130 Sounds like a perfect retirement!
He is comparing two African countries and here you come adding South America and Portugal Europe and exclude one from that was mentioned on this video.HuH
@@jani1321Hello my dear friend! I think you should look again at what I originally wrote. It is Complementary! Peace be upon thee! Abel 😉🫶🏼
Nice vídeo and comparison. Nice fact: Although Maputo City has only over 1M people, its metropolitan area has around 3M.
Wow. Thanks for the info
@@travelconnect1Luanda is 8 million people
Yes. That's what I said in the video
Luanda cidade ou província?@@augustocosta7887
Loving this channel.
Would you make a list on the best countries to visit in East Africa, Southern Africa or comparisons of Nairobi vs Dar Es Salaam, etc
Keep it up man!
I'll be doing a Nairobi vs. Johannesburg very soon. I'll look into making one with Dar es Salaam. Thanks for the suggestions.
Luanda is apparently a beautiful city, but in reality it is a total disaster, it is impossible to do safe tourism, there is no public transport, there are very few public areas, it is a city with many contrasts. I am Angolan and I definitely say my country still has a city in the true sense of the word
Maputo It's not very different, the problems are similar
I enjoyed Luanda as a tourist
@@travelconnect1 Thank you, I am from Luanda. Angola.
No, brother, We're different in that regard. Maputo indeed have a lot problems, but it's good for tourists. Public transportation is ok and diverse, the cost of living is low, and we have plenty of public places to explore.
We have a lot of public places to explore. At least that 3 things are amazing here.
Maputo is one of the most beautiful cities on the planet earth 🎉 I recommend
Thanks for watching
My Captain friend just landed in Launda, he said the country is nice
Good times
Adorei as duas capitais, as praias são encantadoras.
Meu Deus que linda esta praia angolana que se assemelha a uma ilha.
.
Very beautiful
I haven't visited both yet, so the video was interesting for me. Due to living costs I would not move to Angola in your situation and Maputo has a lack of too many things is my impression. See chain hotels as example. Luanda makes there a bit better job (new Intercontinental, new Protea from Marriott). Not sure if there is also Malaria in Luanda but I know it's in Maputo. Your other cities are probably better spots to move to :)
Interesting. Thanks for sharing
@@travelconnect1 welcome! And Luanda is most expensive city in the world for expatriats in many statistics. Like when your employer sends you there and you want as "western" life style.
Go to cape vert as well , you will fall in love😂
I hope so. Lol
Love your videos brotha! Been watching for a while now. Hoepfully will be out to some of these cities myself. Would love to connect.
Thanks what's up. What cities are you thinking about visiting first?
I've beeen in Mozambique only but it seems Angola is not bad, when i watch your video about luanda i feel in love i want to visit that city the beaches, the clubs i think it's similar like maputo maybe there's a diference a litle bit but both speak's portuges and both coutryes use to have civil wars for a long time,Angola is rich becouse they have petrol Mozambique have gas in the north so i think there's not big diference between them at all :)))
Thanks for watching!
nice comparaison. I've just crossed with your video in my feed and is very interesting. I'd like to say that the Maputo city is in bad conditions. it only favourises people who are in the middle class and the high class. things are too expensive and the economic, social and political situation is a caos for everyone. its good for tourists like you and others, but not for the locals.
Yes. Unfortunately, that's a trend I'm seeing in many parts of the world.
🙏🏿
Angola E melhor que MoCambique, Angola E o Unico paIs de Africa que Joe baidem entrou, Angola E muito legal...

How does Biden visiting Angola mean that Angola is better?
👍

Good times
Luanda could improve and become the best capital in Africa why? Luanda has nicer natural landscapes, islands you could visit, nice beaches and so on.. The problem of Luanda is overpopulation, crime and inequalities in infrastructure between very nice urbanized nice pleces and non urbanized dirty ghettos....
I agree with the majority of this. Lots of potential in Luanda.
@@travelconnect1 true.... It is hard to find a capital city where you can find natural landscapes like miradouro da Lua for instance...I also would suggest you visit other cities in Angola like Lubango who gives vibes of cape town And Namibe.... I personally live in Cabinda an enclave of Angola, City is not that nice but it is calm, great food, natural landscapes....and home to the second largest rain forest in the world, the Mayombe Forest, starts here and ends in gabon
@@travelconnect1 the overpopulation is due to decades of war
Luanda is way better than Maputo
In terms of what? Can you elaborate for us?
I disagree. Mozambique has the best beaches and islands in Africa.
Thank u for the interest of 9ur country Angola. Bt Angola is the most beautiful than our brother Mozambique 😂❤😂Joking
Thanks for watching 😅
Maputo is more far better than Luanda
Let us know why you feel this way. We'd love to here your opinion.
YOU ARE A LIE!! HAHAHA Not even in your wildest dreams Maputo is better. Mozambicans are fans of Luanda and Angola
I don't know if I would say better it's just that Mozambicans are fans of Angolans music, culture and much more but that itself doesn't make Luanda better!!!
@@Mr.Dallas537 Well said
@@Mr.Dallas537 no offense, but I'm not a fan of Angolan music, culture or whatsoever. But tbh, I have a big respect for Anselmo Ralp, Matias Damancio (this one is my favorite) and Kid MC, and I have to admit the fact that Angola is richer than Mozambique, and one of the richest countries in Africa while Mozambique is one of the poorest. But I don't really appreciate Angolan stuff, like, idk why. Call it a prejudice or whatever but I don't like anything from Angola, especially their accent, lol...
Do you visit all these African towns while on work and sponsored by an organization or its self sponsored?
How do you make the money to afford traveling to all these places?
Self sponsored. Different streams of income. Just gotta grind and make it happen.
Uma das 7 maravilhas do mundo esta localizado em Moçambique ,ilhas praias até cachoeras e outra Mozambique têm 9 minerios mais raros do mundo pra dizer que é mais rica que alguns países africanos até de outros continentes apenas temos maus gestores e maiores curuptos do mundo,não sou fã de nada de angola nem é por desprezo eu amo musicas americanas e filmes gosto de novelas brasileiras apoio nosso futebol odeio rebaixar outros e até ver nossos irmão fazer comparações rebaixando os outros parem com isso é ridiculo2 One of the 7 wonders of the world is located in Mozambique, islands beaches to waterfalls and another Mozambique has 9 rarest minerals in the world to say that it is richer than some African countries even on other continents we just have bad managers and biggest curuptos in the world, no I'm a fan of nothing from Angola, it's not even out of contempt I love American music and films I like Brazilian soap operas I support our football I hate putting others down and even seeing our brothers make comparisons putting others down stop it, it's ridiculous.
