When you add parts to a guitar from another (e.g adding the start/select from a world tour to the Xplorer, do you just use Bondo and sand? I have a few ideas, but I'm a little wary on how I'd go about them. One of them is a Lefty LP, and I'd like to rework my Guitar Praise controller

I do use bondo and sanding on most all mods like that. The les Pauls and pretty much everything with a faceplate are quite tedious as you gotta do both the body and faceplate but it's all just time spent.

2:57 does that fit in as is or do their need to be any specific mods?

Besides needing to wire the start and select to something it is a direct fit.

thanks for introducing me to the concept of bondo. didnt know what that was. do you just tape and fill and patch then remove tape and sand?

I don't usually tape any thing up and the explanation wouldn't translate well to text so I'm making a note here to make a full bondo tutorial. Sorry that I can't answer your question right now but I will definitely have a video soon on it and all the steps I take as well as the tools and materials I use

my dream guitar is an SG with rock band frets. you think thats doable?

If you mean an sg with a whole rock band neck yeah that's doable, or double frets on a stock neck also doable. My way is very involved but far from impossible, I've seen it done many different ways and all seem to work just fine

@@ninjapwnsatlyfe yeah like actual rock band strat neck on an SG. i just love the fact that you can three finger alt tap on those phat boxy frets. and the SG body is the best.
