As I am sure you are busy with many other videos, I suppose there has yet to be a third to this project yes? Perhaps you wouldn't mind sharing here what your thoughts were on Part 3, as I am very curious given my own present circumstances I explained in a reply to DELLsFan below. You have some very clever ideas! Thank you in advance-Cheers!
If you have Win10 on another computer, could you clone that onto an sdd that you will replace in the optical drive, and have the dual boot happen with that?
I have the EXACT same question. haha Just acquired one of these randomly which is how I found your part 1 and in the process of bidding on those parts, along with a new battery. This Part 2 though was very interesting and a very clever idea, so I'm greatly interested in your other ideas for Part 3. As a side note: I did install OCLP and am running Ventura. I too needed Windows, so I set about installing via Bootcamp. I didn't realize that this process becomes rather convoluted due to OCLP. Given my model has the SuperDrive, I cannot install via a USB, instead I'm having to burn a DVD of an archived version of Windows 10. This archived version (1803) is the last release to fit completely on a single DVD. Basically something that should have taken a day has taken 3 going on 4, mainly because the DVD-Rs I thought I had, are actually stupid CD-Rs... like almost an entire spindle of 100... complete waste, junk, and I moved those damn things 3 times now with the first move back in 2011!! The whole time I'm thinking they are DVD-Rs. lol They probably have disc rot by now anyway. lol So I'm off now to my local Walmart to buy some DVDs.
No1 mistake putting windows on a Mac... your Mac got revenge on you. I have a second drive in mine as extra storage. Its more fun installing Ventura with OCLP 05.1
True, but some people have a genuine need to run both OS’s on a single machine (without the hassle of VMs). And yes, OCLP is on my to-do list. Videos coming eventually…. Thanks as always for watching and providing input, Mike!

Sorry it wasn’t easier to find. Here it is: Dual Boot Setup with Windows on a 2012 MacBook Pro using BootCamp

Came to ask the same question 👍
Nice video tutorial,is your windows 10 o.s still runs on your mac this time? If it does ill try it on my mac
Thanks mate, stay safe.
Probably you can use second ssd as an external OS. I'm pretty confident that it will work, as I saw a guy do it

No, it won't work
Hey! New here. Where's part 3?

@@FamilyGeekery What you need is a good second hand Thinkpad for windows.
Nice video but you should really cut your nails next time 😅
Dang! You caught me. I try to keep them short, but they keep growing! Thanks for watching!
