AAAAAAAA it's the lore lady. I love her and her voice. It's absolutely magical how the entire community got attached to someone they had never ever seen. Every god spotlight is amazing because of her, and Smite would no way be where it is without her.
This is such a wonderful surprise! I got the Lore Lady announcer pack early on in my smite career and I have NEVER changed it! 😭 I don't freak out with voice actors, but I'd be so excited to meet her! 💙

Even if I don't play smite anymore, I still come back for 2 things. To watch every god reveal just for the sake of Lore lady. And to check the new skins because I adore the team behind every single one of them.
First of all, Suehyla is one of the most gorgeous names I've ever heard, full stop. SO pretty. Second, I'm so happy that Lore Lady exists, and is a part of SMITE's history. I literally cannot imagine a better voice for the god reveal videos, and yes I know there have been several others. Lore Lady trumps them all. When they made the the announcer pack I got it immediately bc I needed more Lore Lady in my life, and even now when I have my announcer packs on shuffle (which is, in fact, insanity), I get so hyped when I play a game with her announcer pack. Very glad they brought her back after very briefly doing a few without her.
SMITE's god reveals would be nothing without our Lore Lady and finally, it's nice to have a face and a name attached to it. Suehyla El-attar Young is a wonderful human being with a wonderful voice, this short 4 minute video was also a wonderful tribute to her. In a way, it is a SMITE god reveal to us. Thank you for all the work you've done and will do as our Lore Lady, Suehyla, and good luck on every other project your voice shall touch!
So nice to meet the person behind the most iconic voice in Smite. I will never get tired of the Lore Lady's voice. It has such an intimidating elegance to it. I still wonder will we eventually get the Lore Lady as a playable character, imagine for the final god that will release in Smite. I can see and hear it now in the cinematic trailer. We see the cosmos, we see the Lore Lady observing all the teases in every year lineup and we hear "For millennia I have watched over the battlefields, I have seen every rejoice, every celebration...every horror. Now the time has come. No longer will I be but a voice in the cosmos, no longer will I remain idle, no, now is time I take action, now is the time I change the course of the Battlefield of the Gods". We then see her descend from the cosmos into the battlefield as everyone looks at her in awe, before she absolutely annihilates the big bads of the Smite universe. (This took me about 2 minutes to come up with, probably cringe, but it has been said)
Nah that was awesome man. I totally read that in her voice and felt chills even though I don't think she should even be a playable character. Good Job!
Wow its actually well thought out!! 💗 Yees she needs to be a playable character but idk of any deities that similar to Lore Lady, I thought we can pick a Goddess who doesn't have much history or doesn't have much strong identity, and I thought of Frigga The All-Mother since she was always gets confused with Freyja but idk still...
There is MOST definitely a goddess out there that the Lore Lady could incorporate if they wanted to give her a playable character. A goddess that works with things like Fate, Clairvoyance, Omnipresence, etc...
I have dozens of announcer packs in the game, and I have always refused to use any other one aside from The Lore Lady because her voice is so amazing. Thank you, Suehyla, for all of the personality that you bring to Smite!!
Am I crying? I've been playing this game since day 1 of closed beta where Hel was the embodiment of all things broken, Ra was so fast you didn't even bother chasing and the Sobek + Cupid combo dominated any lane. I feel like I've been reunited with an old friend. Feels nice.
Since the announcerpack of Lore Lady is out, I never changed it. It is the only one for me that is perfect. I remember buying the gems to buy it. (I think it was in the Odyssee?) Without even thinking if I had enough money for the rest of the month, just because I wanted the AP.

Brings tears to a grown man's eyes. Honestly when they didn't use you for that lore video we shall not speak of, I literally jumped out of my seat screaming "Where's the Lady of the Lore! Where's the Lore LADY!" I Was At Work 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 Skipped through the video in complete denial, commented and was pleased I wasn't the only one to feel that way. There isn't anyone else who can convey what I will find out myself in a couple of days in a ever so soothing tone to help balance out my excitement while also making it sound so cool, interesting, impactful and meaningful. I honestly only watched those videos to see what the Lore Lady would say about the god/goddess, as the patch notes reveal show is better suited for "Dev Talk." A Reveal trailer without you is basically a text to speech video. It's not the same.
The only announcer pack I've used for the past several years is Lore Lady. And I don't plan on changing that any time soon. You do amazing work and we are blessed to have you, Suehyla!

Oh my God seeing her face for the first time actually made me read only tear up because she is such a big part of the game and her voice and the way she introduces characters always makes me so excited to play the game! Even when I'm taking a Hiatus from the game I love watching the lore videos and her soothing consistent voice is such a big part of the draw into those new characters!
