Remember, they did the same thing to the Manticore when he was a mob boss. Who knows? We might get a real Minion God in the future.
Make it Odysseus or something. Literally insert any significant mortal hero from Greek mythology and you could have him have secretly been a minion the whole time

I imagine them to be a support god, with a passive worship, that boost the effectiveness of a single pantheon of gods on their team.
I imagine them having a skill "command" where they can force other minions to attack specific targets
I imagine "Turn the faithless", forcing enemy minions to become allied minions. The Minion is gonna have some pretty sick early gameplay, just like the minion
If they do then they should release one of the legendary epic heroes. Maybe Jason or Beowulf or a general of an army like Hannibal.
Make is Jason and the argonauts, buff nearby minions and is able to control/ lead them around

@@joeblack2809 I think they’ll stick to mythos. The only real person in the game is Guan and he was made into a saint. So I don’t think they’ll start putting in real generals.

I was really hoping they would mention a secret passive called winions. It only activates when the opposing gods map awareness is terrible and they walk straight to the Titan

Now I actually want this to happen. A "God" of Minions, an original character that has entered the battlefield to fight for his people. Tired to see his kind being used and mistreated by the gods, he decided to take up arms and avenge his kin. An antithesis to the gods, with a "reject divinity, embrace mortality" philosophy. His kit could even have skills that interact with the minions. Afterall, *someone* has to fight for humanity.
Also, making him the size of a normal minion would be a plus :p

The biggest difference between the Minions and my teammates is that the Minions actually are aware when an enemy player rotates to another lane.

Domination sand guardian gives so much nostalgia. I wish Domination would come back as a motd again.
Yeah, there are a number of retired MotD options that I miss. Body Swap and Ultra Hyper Joust Turbo are the ones that seem to have disappeared that I miss the most, but Domination would be nice to have as an option as well.

Honestly, the Minion would be the only character I’d play ever again if they came out. Gotta love the gods being able to be humbled
If only there was a gamemode where you could only pick non gods. And as the match goes on you would earn worshippers to to summon a god(or camp monster) to fight for you for a limited time.
I would love a “god” who’s entire identity is focused on being a minion general. He could have an ability similar to Ares, empowering all minions within a certain radius. His ultimate could be similar to Baka’s, summoning a small army of minions to fight by his side

Yeah, level 1 or 2 in lane means be wary of minions. I sorta thought that there would be a joke about how any god can be humbled by minions... at level 1.

Hearing Lady of the Lore say damnit in her regular voice is almost enough to get me back into smite.
Not gonna lie...... this kind of made me want the minion as a God 😂😂 and I actually think the first 2 abilities were good abilities 😂 idk about the 3rd, and the fourth would be good if it only summoned like the first 4 minions you see in the frame and a buff that isn't crazy OP and I think it'd be a good ultimate
It’s Manticore all over again. Maybe they’ll backtrack in a few years and make the minion a real thing.

I want to see a Record Of Ragnarok collaboration where the human heroes from that series are earnable as playable heroes in this game. Tesla, Lu Bu, Adam, Simo Hayha etc would be AMAZING. Jack The Ripper might be OP in smite.

As much as I want a minion god, with the ability to enhance minion waves somehow, I feel it would be so op and that’s why sadly it will never happen.

If you know karma from league of legends ability she was able to empower allies and minions with (e -1 unit cast)a shield and movespeed with her ult which makes the e now empower multiple allies and minions bigger shield as well.
Um Janus is still in the game so I don't think they care about what's op

i always wished for a mode where everyone plays as minions and the gods are all ai controlled. The players would have to team up and rely on support from their own ai gods to have any chance of striking down enemy gods.
Just start adding cryptids call em God's you got 5 years of character you can release once a year

I’m gonna name him Populi, god of the people, he should have a stance switch ability in his 1-3 and live the buff firm idea. Maybe a passive tied to the number of minions near them could work. I like the idea

If they are going to make a mortal that can beat gods i prefer they make kratos😂 he should be a physical damage character & his ult is spartan rage. Does 3* enemy level damage per sec while the rage give him a power & durability boost & he does a guaranteed fixed 150 damage every hit (plus your build) & yes his main weapon is the blades of chaos & his abilities should be *1:he can throw his blades into you then he’ll rush & tackle you causing you to be stunned.* *2: his blades light on fire giving him a damage boost & when he hit you it cause a burning effect on the enemy.* *3:he will grab you & give you the hands like a 5 punch combo.* If not that ult then his ult can be where he have the blades of chaos but can switch to the axe to do magical damage & the abilities will change as well. *1:he will throw the axe at you & it’ll freeze you for a couple sec.* *2:he slams the axe to the ground doing magical damage.* *3: he can throw the axe at you & when he calls it back It’ll pull you back to him & cause a slowing effect.* And ofc the blades should be able to fight mid range & the axe is close combat. SMITE YALL ARE REALLY MISSING OUT ON A BAG ON A GOD OF WAR DLC WITH KRATOS BEING A PLAYABLE CHARACTER.
The minion could be a rival of Ullr (Similar to Goku and Vegeta).
Passive: Eagle Eye - The Minion gains increased attack speed when ally archer minions are nearby (lasts 3s)
The Minion has:
5% crit chance against hunters/assassins/mages
10% crit chance against warriors/tanks
1st Ability: Krak Shot - Enemies are pierced and receive 10% reduced protections, followed by an explosive burst of damage.
2nd Ability: Hold My Cloak - Nearby enemies are pulled in and wrapped in The Minion's cloak (taking ramping tick damage). After 2 seconds (if still within range) the enemies are rooted.
3rd Ability: Combat Roll - The Minion rolls forward (passes through enemies) and gains increased movement and attack speed for 4s.
If passing through an enemy:
hunter/assassin/mage, the enemy is slowed.
Warrior/Guardian, they are stunned.
Ultimate: (Last Mission) A giant slow field (similar to Bakasura ult and Anubis 3). Fallen minions come from the ground and grab onto enemies. The grab chain is increase slow, then root (.5), then stun. Enemies take increased damage the longer they are in the field and have scaling defense removed based on their defense (tanks take more damage). The effect remains in place 2 seconds after leaving the field.
Or
Protege - The Minion locks on to an enemy god and fires 3 arrows in a row (2 gold, 1 silverish white). If the enemy is slowed they take increased damaged. If they are stunned and below 15% they are executed. (Stun intentionally left out of his kit, except against tanks).

I was hoping to get more than 2 characters before it ended like the minotaur for example.
