Awesome! I knew Steve back in the 90s. He was always funny and a decent bloke and a talented drummer. Hope he's doing well.

Keep reacting to Steve, he'a great. He used to be housemates with Jim Jefferies in Manchester, many years ago. Can't imagine what a laugh riot that would have been.

And Brendon Burns. They each recount one story from each perspective of a break in.

Before the Helmets came in in the 80s a School friend of mine lost his Dad when he went over on a Bike, hit his Head, and died immediately. So I had no problems with them. Decades later my young Son went riding with his School mate, who wouldn’t wear a Helmet (my Son was), they had a collision because his friend swerved to miss something, and he hit his Head on the ground and ended up in Hospital for 3 days (my Son hit his Head, though with the Helmet on, and he was fine). It looked like a minor scratch, but he started vomiting profusely, and narrowly avoided long term Brain Damage, it was touch and go for days. I understand that some Health and Safety is an overreach, but you can’t throw out Baby with the Bathwater and be all or nothing. I believe Helmets are a sensible measure, and besides, where else are you gonna thread the Cable Ties through to ward off the Magpies?

100% no helmet and you'll certainly end up a few sheep short in the top paddock after a serious accident. Happened to my best mates friend after being hit by a car while he was on one of those electric scooters in Melbourne's CBD a few years back. He'll never be the same again.
It's the same logic as wearing sunnies while mowing the lawns. A friend from my childhood lost his eye when a small rock flew up while his dad was mowing the lawn. Sunnies won't save you but like the helmet they sure will help!
