Fun Fact “8-Bit Band” won a Grammy for their cover of ‘Meta Knight’s Revenge’ which was crazy since it’s a videogame song and everyone for a week just memed about Meta Knight winning a Grammy
12:15 Yeah it's well hidden. In the game at the beginning of the level your supposed to ignore the entrance to the bridge, walk off to the side, jump over some rubble and you'll find a healing item that is one of the missions for the level. Then keep going and you'll find the latter up to the chest. Then jump into the window and do the mini-boss rush till the end. It is completely optional and doesn't give you anything, just something they put in for the fun of it. It's not the only secret area, this game has 2 different 'HAL' rooms which are unique areas in a level that have the company's logo in them.
You asked so here I go, another good failboat video to watch would be "so chat played Kirby..." It's one of my favorite videos from him. Glad you're going back and watching some of his older forgotten land Kirby videos too, lol
So, I'll try to explain what you were confused on in the video, starting with the glitch. I don't 100% know how it works, but this is how I see it: So in this game, with the hammer ability you can do a slam attack, where you slam into the ground with the hammer while in the air. How it works is when you fly with kirby, when he gets tired and starts to float back down, you end the float early, do the slam, and as soon as you hit the ground, tap the jump button and the momentum will carry kirby high into the air. 5:05 So, I better start with defining the arenas. So, in most kirby games nowadays, after beating the main story you unlock the arena, a special mode where its essentially a boss rush, and there's usually a harder variant after playing through the game in the "ex" mode. The difference with Forgotten land is the arena appears halfway through the story, and you have a "Beginner" cup where you have 6 battles in a row: The first 3 bosses from the first 3 worlds, 2 sets of 2 midbosses, and Meta knight as the finale fight (This is also where you can get an upgraded version of the sword, so its worth doing). This glitch makes it so you only have to do 1 battle, the same set of midbosses, everytime. 5:25 Rare stones are essentially the item you use to make your abilities stronger, as well as unlock variants (like the toy hammer Failboat uses throughout the video). 5:36 Yeah, he didn't actually say that. It was edited to make us think the waddle dee said it, I fell for it to. 6:01 This is the boss you fight at the end of world 5. 12:17 This is a secret bridge level. So how the level normally plays out is you walk from one edge of the bridge to the other, fighting midbosses and solving challenges along the way. However, when you spawn in the level, go to the left and find the megamato. But fly above the camera and jump up to the ladder you saw. Get the chest and jump into the window to access the harder bridge. It's essentially like the original level, but you fight 2 midbosses at a time instead of 1, and the side challenges are harder as well. The window thing is just how HAL hides rewards by observing background elements. In some of the previous kirby games, you could run into things in the background to access a hidden area, like a tear off of a painting or a moon.
If you like watching videos of people glitching games or just trying out crazy stuff, I think you'd like Let's Game It Out! I don't think you've reacted to him, or i couldn't recall anyway, but he plays a bunch of games in the most wrong way possible and regularly finds glitches and exploits in them lol Love all the Failboat reactions btw, i remember finding his channel and binging all the content, so it's always fun to see someone else's reaction to it!
Fun fact: Kirby ISNT god. If Kirby can defeat gods, than ANY video game character can. Infact, MARIO hurt a giant turtle who survived a black hole and survive without a scratch
@@theduckgoesmoo that totally makes sense haha, lets just say that from pajama sam to Diablo to LoZ Ocarina of Time my first games were spent more with me trying to find hidden paths and glitches than actually progressing the game… and that never really changed X-p add in alpha and beta testing back in the days where they paid you to test it out well for them and by now its my main nature and i sometimes forget i actually am supposed to play the game haha

*8-Bit Big Band, and also it was specifically a collab with Button Masher, both of which have amazing music overall.

2:50 wow, thank you Mr obvious
The reason why there are no in visible walls is because the height limit for Kirbys flight is limited, so nintendo didn't add any
