Testing Shimano aero x1 13ft match float rod

In this video I’m using a Shimano 13ft match float rod . I want to see how good the rod is and how its handling the type of fish I’m catching. It’s been really good fun and the rod has been great. The rod is very light and it feels very good when you hook the fish.

thankyou for this really great video. amazed how good the action on the X1 was. will purchase one i think. i dont have a 13ft match rod, and this looks like it can handle large carp at commercials easily. so on top of an enjoyable video of fishing, have been amazed at the action at a rod the price you said. thankyou again! very much enjoyed watching!

Had a 15lb carp on this rod, the 10ft version. Lovely quality rods, got a precision feeder and a pellet waggler, all lovely rods.

Just some feedback on this rod. I watched the video / review (thanks for helping to make the purchase!) looking for an ultra light float mullet rod for harbours and small rivers. Yet to take it mullet fishing but it handled close to double figure carp no problems at a local pond with plenty of backbone to steer them towards the net and takes lunges in it's stride. A superb rod for the price!

Nice vid mate, you probably only need 5lb line if they only go upto 8lb 👍

Nice to see a plain and simple pleasure fisherman giving an honest opinion on a rod, and glad to see I ain't the only who forgets to set the landing net up 😂 and you had a good days fishing and christened the rod the best way possible, and pick mine up next week when local tackle shop gets its delivery

Nice video mate, im in between 13ft float rod aero x1 or vengeance ax float also 13ft, what you prefer.
