I give my heart to and love others but I criticized and punish myself I don't ever think I'm good enough or undeserving enough. I lost my grounding when I lost my father I've been lost for 10 years thank you for teaching from your heart it does help. I am reading this in December 2020 and your words are more true now than they were when you posted this. And your technology works fine all the time at least for me here in Boulder Colorado. Haven't found my joy yet but I'm learning to deal with my pain thank you

Thank you so much. I realized I've been seeing through pain for 20 years. I became critical about everything, I began analyzing everything to death. Living in a past that no longer even exists. So perfect, this came to me yesterday, then Bam! You had this talk. I stayed up one whole evening and asked the Universe to give me a message if I was on the right track. You actually gave me my message, from the cosmos, Thank you. When a person finally relaxes the Universe opens up. xoxo

Hello I just want to tell that in 2021 I went to the dessert in Mexico.. I went with people I didn’t know and the guy who invited me I just knew him one time.. they invite me to participate in a ceremony of the solstice of winter.. and play the flute I wasn’t good animically and was battling with problems to sleep.. I took a bit of ( hikuri ) peyote.. and in the morning something happened.. the guy who directed the ceremony made a change of clothes very quilkly .. and some other stuff.. since then I m not the same .. and I m medicated.. I used to be all smiles and confident.. someone recommend me to do the soul retrieval with a rinpoche.. since then I ve been watching your videos.. I hope I can get better

Tujichay Rinpoche! Tremendous opportunity to except what is happening and be open. Thank you for keeping these teachings online; they are timeless. It has found me at a time my father has had a stroke and I am far from him. Your practices give me a way to be with the not knowing. The cyber sangha is also spaceless and spacious, I feel the support even now in Dec 2021. My deep appreciation for sharing so wisely and widely. Best wishes for you, your family and community, Hugs from Sandra in Canada

I appreciate so much for your teachings and right now have multiple challenges and really need to leave everything as it is and hope the shift I felt in this meditation stays and really want to see from the warmth of spaciousness in fact since I have never faced so many challenges before there is no where else to go but through the 3 Doors or swallow the 3 pills because it is so obvious that my mind or my ego will not come up with a solution for all of these challenges so I feel great peace in the midst of chaos and my world falling apart. Thank you from the depths of my heart.

This is so very relevant in 2020. Thank you. I have an immune deficiency and so am in very high risk for COVID. In the first week of lock down it felt like a sever trauma, particularly because as an Australian we were only just recovering from the bush fires and I had been working with someone who was a bully for more than 2 years. I made the decision to focus on the positives in my life, I had a job that was able to be done from home so I still had income, I live alone which means I control keeping myself safe, measures have been put in place that mean people like me can reduce our risk - like telehealth and deliveries for prescriptions and food. It's certainly tough and I do struggle some days but I am trying to avoid thinking about what could happen in the future and focusing on what I am grateful for now. I know that I am infinitely privileged compared to so many people right now. I started a new job 3 weeks ago, leaving the bully behind :-)

Your words in interview~With that as the view, it is then necessary to look at your specific circumstances. You may recognize that, for you, a certain relationship is not going well, and so you come to ask yourself, “Should I avoid that person or should I work on this relationship?”
Consider the analogy of the flame and the wind. If you are a flame, a light, and you are stronger than the wind, the wind can help you grow. If you are weaker than the wind, that wind will extinguish your light. The force of that wind is not a helpful condition for you, and so you need protection from that wind, or must avoid that wind altogether.
When you make the decision to avoid another person, it is important to realize that this is a question of your strength and not the inherent evil of the other. If you say, “Well, I realize it is possible that this relationship could go another way, but given our stories, or our history, or the force of the emotions that arise, that is not happening,” you are still leaving space in yourself for the goodness of that person to exist, even though right now you do not find it possible to meet that other person in that space of goodness.

I like what you say, but... there are some sufferings which are very intense, and life may not get better - for example terminal illness. I'm sure we can improve things by looking for the best, but I think sometimes it may be necessary to embrace and acknowledge our despair. I wonder if there can be just a hint of denial in the approach described here? Or maybe that is all ego. Do you see why I would raise this point?
