I agree that it doesn’t quite come together. There are many elements that are effective, but I found myself not really caring about the characters during parts of the film. As with any horror film, it’s better to hide the horrifying monster as long as possible to build suspense and create angst. The bike scene was well done and is a testament to what I mean, but they showed her too soon and with no explanation as to why she looked and behaved as she did. I was left with more questions than answers at the end. Also, I assume there will be a sequel since they took Alma away.
@@shannonm4359 Singer definitely took some swings and not all of them landed! I agree that the emotional stakes were not as high as they could have been.
we've been looking so forward to this since we saw the trailer a few months ago. had my fingers crossed the whole video u were going to say its good! Im a fan of dan stevens (the guest, legion, were both epic, lets ignore abigail) - so yea, big excite for this one, even if its not going to win any awards from the sounds of it
