Summary of the Creepypasta for those who don't want to watch gameplay of it:
AppleBloom follows Twilight to the Everfree Forest for a errand, but after trees block their exiting path, AppleBloom follows a odd pony into the woods unsupervised, finding an odd village farther in. All ponies in this town have no Cutie Marks (and don't know what they are), but seem very fine without them. Only one townsfolk show any form of negative emotion, explaining this place is dangerous, but AppleBloom doesn't listen, wanting to solve the mystery of these weirdos in the forest
After doing small tasks, AppleBloom enters a locked cabin and inside the FirePlace she finds the rotting skeleton of a Pony. Once she runs back to the forest, the town has decayed away, and beasts of the former townsfolk explain their tale.
The Blank Flanks had a fear of Marks, assuming they were like a deadly disease, and taking crazy measures if one obtained a mark (like burning it off). A mare gained a mark one day after watching the townsfolk manage a "cursed pony," and to dispose of the diseased, they killed her in cold blood. A curse setting on the town to remain in permanent limbo of their horrible lifestyle. A cursed land AppleBloom walked into.
AppleBloom immediately runs for her life, and the odd pony she found earlier on, named Ruby, helps her escape narrowly.
Ruby is the one the townsfolk killed the day of the curse, and is pushed further by the fact Ruby becomes an aura above AppleBloom once she escapes back to reality
Bruh this creepypasta concept is actually decently written why did I never stumble upon this one during my creepypasta and MLP phase

Also the way applebloom’s expression subtly changes from surprised to determined/brave after that breakdown was really really nice. Saster approved too, so it’s an 11/10 for me

YOOOO Story of the Blanks is one of those games I really thought nobody but I would remember. Man this brings back a crazy amount of memories! Goddang this makes me so happy thinking back to all those memories of playing all the flash games I could on Equestria Daily(I think the site was called something like that, idk it's been so long-)
Yeah, I specifically remember that one part where you had to push some obstacles while running from the spooky ponies. Gave me nightmares for weeks.
The Story of the Blanks is a serious nostalgia trip, right next to Luna Game and Rainbow Factory. Just uh...don't mention Banned from Equestria Daily.

going from the forest to the chase scene to meeting the pony who was murdered by sunny is great storrytelling. i feel like the only thing this level is missing is the facade of the sunny being alive. it could've been a section before the zombies arrive. outside of that and the skeleton in the fireplace this mod is a perfect summary of the game it's based on
when i first heard this i was like wow that's the best applebloom impression ive ever heard and then i found out that it's 15 ai???? and now i'm like wow that's the most realistic emotions ive heard from a 15 ai voice...

I barely have a clue about what's going on in this song but I absolutely love it! It gives me some serious Fatality vibes, there's some ghost pony, the little pont's face grows determined as the song progresses. There's a scene of her running away and you can see the grounding moving beneath her. It's awesome man
Week old, but this is based on one of the earliest fanworks MLP had, a little flash game called Story of the Blanks. Basically, Applebloom (the filly you play here with the bow) heads to the Everfree to find a village full of blank flanks (that is, no butt tattoos/cutie marks). She stays there for the day, then she notices more and more wrong things, making her run off to save herself in the process.
God this unlocked a godly childhood memory. I completely forgotten of this game until you made a song for it. Thanks so much for making me remember this! As somebody who struggles with amnesia and can't remember much of my childhood, this made me really fucking happy lol

I dunno if anyone else feels me on this but my favorite part, and even though it was a short amount of time, was the dialogue between Applebloom and Ruby. The “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to bring you into this” and the “it’s ok, I don’t blame ya” before it completely pops off is an amazing time frame in the song
i assume the one saying run for your life is the one nightmare who regrets what happened to ruby and as such instructs applebloom to flee or become like them. if not I'm confused as to why one would say that.
I think it's the pony we see crying on Roneo's (?) House and regrets Ruby's death.

Thats Mitta, she regretted deeply for not interfering when Ruby was killed. She tells Applebloom to run away to hold back the residents so she can run. She's the only one who understands that their life after death is their punishment for killing Ruby.

I'm just glad I actually played story of the blanks, so this is pretty nostalgic for me. It was a really long time ago though so I don't remember everything very well, but it was still something that would stick with me. I was just looking around online for a little flash game to play on some website because I was bored and the sight of a pixelated Applebloom intrigued me, little did I know what the game really was and how much it would stick with me. So seeing this makes me really happy. Thanks for this.

The game this video is based of is called "Friendship is 8-Bit: Story of the Blanks"
Here is the lore (SPOILERS either play or watch the game, it only takes 10-20 minutes)
Many years ago there was a village called Sunny Town.
The residents were preparing a party
The residents dont have any Cutie Marks "never heard of them".
A Pony named Roneo lost his present for a Pony named Starlet.
Ruby a young pony found the gift for Roneo and earned her Cutie Mark, a Magnifying Glass.
The Residents became disturbed about the Cutie Mark which appeared out of thin air on Ruby.
They believed she was cursed and burned her alive in a building.
There was one Pony named Mitta who didnt liked that, she blames herself for not interfering.
Now the Residents are cursed for eternity damned as undead Ponies.
Applebloom got in this situation by following a young Pony (Ruby a ghost) into the cursed village.
Mitta the only undead who is red (the others are all black) helped her to escape, told Applebloom to run for her life and probably tried to hold the residents off.
Ruby also helped Applebloom to escape. (the footprints that showed her a path to follow when she was running away)
The undead wanted to "protect" Applebloom from getting her Cutie Mark and keep her for ever.

While I really love this for being based on one of the best Ponypastas out there, I cannot help but notice the tone and music similarities with Game Over. Not only are the melodies similar, but the tone is similar, due to the compared Pastas in question (Story of the Blanks and Mario '85). Excellent song, nonetheless!
As someone who loves Game Over, I see this as an absolute win.

I'd never heard of Story of the Blanks before this, and was promptly amazed by the game I found. Awesome way to go through it, having Applebloom start running and for Ruby's ghost to actually start singing with her, the townsfolk even turning zombified, such a cool callback!
this mod is nuts. Every part of it is amazing but the NOW RUN FOR YOUR LIFE right into the drop and visual is unbelievably dope
fun fact: ruby has an unused icon in the files and all the left and right anims are reversed past the initial scene
