I really recommend you to watch it. Even thought the anime's selling point is the comedy it has a lot of heart-warming scenes, so if you really liked the part when Komi opens up then you won't be dissapointed.

Komi's the kind of story of where you would want to just hug her and encourage her EVERY single day. I love how this video brings out the shows entire premise in a single song. She wants to communicate, she just can't form the connection to do so. This show set off so many "awww" moments in me that I just couldn't function properly for a good power of 30 minutes after an episode, It was a great show.
As a guy who read the manga, the moment when Komi started to open up and sing almost bring tears to my eyes. I felt so happy and proud for some reason.

Considering BF is canonically so anti-social that he chooses to speaks in beeps to avoid social interactions (meaning he can actually speak English but he chooses to beep) this would make sense for Tadano to translate and understand him since he’s got a lot of practice with Komi

Only got into Komi Can’t Communicate somewhat recently, and I regret not seeing this song a few days sooner! I was never expecting a mod based on this in particular, but it was done so well here - amazing work!
Story time: This song really sticks with me due to me having a mute friend who's been mute their whole life, with me being her first ever friend and the one thats been there for her the longest. The special part about this friendship is that we both share our creativity's with her being an avid writer and me being a musician, and this song really just resinates now deep within both of us. I've rewatched this at least a dozen times, and I just realized Najimi bounces on the offbeat unlike everyone else who bounces on the downbeat. Really cool detail that emphasizes Najimi's "otherness" Edit: I just noticed that by the end of the song, Najimi is synced with everyone! Character development :')

I adore this art style a lot! The design for Boyfriend in Komi style looks like your run out of the mill, upbeat, energetic highschool boy. Komi writing as a way to sing is so on point in character and then, the touch of the narrator saying their usual line just so Komi can finally sing was epic

Never watched this anime but One of my favorite details of this mod is that the sprites match the singing, like when the mouths are closed, the note sounds like it’s being hummed. Or when an A note is sung the mouth matches? I’ve never seen that level of detail in an fnf mod before?? It’s such a subtle way of lip syncing that makes the animation all the more satisfying to watch
Literally a month ago i was like "This is the only piece of media where it's physically impossible to make a mod out of without going against the original source material" I am so glad to be wrong this is awesome. I remember seeing somebody complain, that characters in FNF must sing (as in, use some sort of vocal notes, not any extraneous sounds) in order for mod to sound good. I still disagree with them

This was just beautiful man... Tadano was trying to help Komi to sing the entire time, It's just so touching to see how much he always cares about her, Boyfriend and Najimi coming in to help her was really nice as well, And when you added the Narrator's Voice to tell us "The Audience" as to why she was writing on a Notepad, "For people who don't know about the Anime" It was just PURE genius man. Komi's Voice was nearly just as pretty as it was in the Anime, Great choice for who you got to voice her! And Tadano's eyes lighting up when she started singing? Absolutely amazing. One thing I noticed was how small Komi-san was, She's supposed to actually be taller then Tadano himself, But then I realized she's actually sitting down for the entire Mod, So that was on me lol, My mistake o/ "The Song was really pretty btw, Forgot to mention that" Great job bbpanzu! ^_^

This song really resonates with me becuase I struggle with social anxiety too, and it's really hard for me to make friends at school because of it. I really wish I could talk to people at school more since it's really hard to talk to people that I dont know, but it's easy when I've known them for awhile. It's really hard to describe the feeling i feel when someone walks up to me and tries to talk to me, I think some if my teachers think I'm just rude or sonething becuase I dont like talking to people. I'd rather just say nothing since it takes a lot for me to say something. Sorry for the long comment I just wanted to share this (also this was released one day before my birthday that's really cool)

It makes me kinda happy that Komi san got really popular recently. I’m also semi-mute, and have found it to be very difficult to make friends and just do normal things that my classmates and other people around me found so easy to do. It’s been very difficult growing up, and I’ve always felt so alone in this struggle, because this kind of specific condition isn’t exactly well known. But this story really made my issues feel more validated. The struggle of initiating interactions, keeping up with conversations through writing, ordering food, and simply going to school. My therapy has been going well and I’m able to interact with people a lot better, but I really wish I had a lot of people to support me back then like Komi san did.

As someone who has really bad social anxiety and trouble communicating, I find it really hard to talk to anyone at all. Even talking to my family is hard enough. I know nothing about this anime at all, however seeing her open up how she did made me cry. Nicely done, absolutely loved this
I love it, I love their clear personalities. Chadano is encouraging and gleeful, Shouko is positive patient and observant, Najimi is Najimi, bf is calm and enjoying.
This is actually so amazing and I love it. The way that the characters came in with the same order that they became friends with Komi (Minus Bf of course) was a really good idea. And animations are smooth and the voices match with their personality. In My opinion, this isn't 'just an fnf mod', it's a masterpiece.

I like that writing sound. Although it would not normally be so rhythmic in life, it fits here perfectly. The only thing I would change is Komi's voice. In my opinion, it is definitely too short. But this is only a small detail, because the whole thing is a pure masterpiece. EDIT: WTH, 622 LIKES?

what i love about this mod is the part where komi sings, tadano has a slight hint of awe and excitement in his sprite *sparkling eyes, etc.* and this also shows in reskins (from what i know is the ddlc reskin, where sayori has very noticeable sparkling eyes) which is very wholesome to see

Honestly, when I saw a Komi mod, I just thought it was going to be Tadano and Komi. Imagine my surprise when not only BF but Najimi walk in, and add to this already beautiful song. Komi also “singing” with the notepad, and then the narrator talking about the social anxiety she has, to then her eyes becoming fully drawn out as she sings is amazing. I love Tadano’s expression of joy, and how they pick the song back up. Also, Komi’s singing sprites having lack of movement except for her mouth is such a minor detail, but an amazing touch for me.
Ah here I am back in the fnf fandom after over almost half a year. Y'all never fail to keep making the best and most innovative stuff. I've been to these other communities where they all hate on fnf, but I still cannot agree. The new tracks with the vocals and instrumentals gets stuff going smoothly. It's true that people are running out of ideas and it is kind of getting stale somewhere or the other but I honestly do not find myself hating it. 've seen people saying that though the instrumentals are decent, but vocal parts are trash; still can't go with their way of thought. Keep it going, fnf has come quite the long way.

I totally understand Komi as a person with social anxiety sometimes I really want to talk, I want to get closer to classmates, it always felt like they didn't give enough space, but now I see that I've closed myself off for all this time, I don't know if this will change or not, but I think it's okay to be like this.

This whole video was just so cute
Komi's the kind of story of where you would want to just hug her and encourage her EVERY single day. I love how this video brings out the shows entire premise in a single song. She wants to communicate, she just can't form the connection to do so. This show set off so many "awww" moments in me that I just couldn't function properly for a good power of 30 minutes after an episode, It was a great show.

Never watched this anime but One of my favorite details of this mod is that the sprites match the singing, like when the mouths are closed, the note sounds like it’s being hummed. Or when an A note is sung the mouth matches? I’ve never seen that level of detail in an fnf mod before?? This was just beautiful man... Tadano was trying to help Komi to sing the entire time, It's just so touching to see how much he always cares about her, Boyfriend and Najimi coming in to help her was really nice as well, And when you added the Narrator's Voice to tell us "The Audience" as to why she was writing on a Notepad, "For people who don't know about the Anime" It was just PURE genius man.
Komi's Voice was nearly just as pretty as it was in the Anime, Great choice for who you got to voice her! And Tadano's eyes lighting up when she started singing? Absolutely amazing.

This song really resonates with me becuase I struggle with social anxiety too, and it's really hard for me to make friends at school because of it. I really wish I could talk to people at school more since it's really hard to talk to people that I dont know, but it's easy when I've known them for awhile. It makes me kinda happy that Komi san got really popular recently. I’m also semi-mute, and have found it to be very difficult to make friends and just do normal things that my classmates and other people around me found so easy to do. It’s been very difficult growing up, and I’ve always felt so alone in this struggle, because this kind of specific condition isn’t exactly well known. But this story really made my issues feel more validated. The struggle of initiating interactions, keeping up with conversations through writing, ordering food, and simply going to school. My therapy has been going well and I’m able to interact with people a lot better, but I really wish I had a lot of people to support me back then like Komi san did.

I like that writing sound. Although it would not normally be so rhythmic in life, it fits here perfectly. The only thing I would change is Komi's voice. In my opinion, it is definitely too short. But this is only a small detail, because the whole thing is a pure masterpiece.

what i love about this mod is the part where komi sings, tadano has a slight hint of awe and excitement in his sprite *sparkling eyes, etc.* and this also shows in reskins (from what i know is the ddlc reskin, where sayori has very noticeable sparkling eyes) which is very wholesome to see

Honestly, when I saw a Komi mod, I just thought it was going to be Tadano and Komi. Imagine my surprise when not only BF but Najimi walk in, and add to this already beautiful song. Komi also “singing” with the notepad, and then the narrator talking about the social anxiety she has, to then her eyes becoming fully drawn out as she sings is amazing. I love Tadano’s expression of joy, and how they pick the song back up. Also, Komi’s singing sprites having lack of movement except for her mouth is such a minor detail, but an amazing touch for me.

Ah here I am back in the fnf fandom after over almost half a year. Y'all never fail to keep making the best and most innovative stuff. I've been to these other communities where they all hate on fnf, but I still cannot agree. The new tracks with the vocals and instrumentals gets stuff going smoothly.
It's true that people are running out of ideas and it is kind of getting stale somewhere or the other but I honestly do not find myself hating it. 've seen people saying that though the instrumentals are decent, but vocal parts are trash; still can't go with their way of thought.

I totally understand Komi as a person with social anxiety sometimes I really want to talk, I want to get closer to classmates, it always felt like they didn't give enough space, but now I see that I've closed myself off for all this time, I don't know if this will change or not, but I think it's okay to be like this.
