Tourist TJ is really out here testing the limits of his and the host country's comfort zone lol seeing him constantly struggle with the language barrier and the flow of Japanese life, and the guaranteed "fuck!" in exasperation, or the absolute butchering of the language is hilarious! Thank you TJ for the daily laughs, and thank you Grant for constantly pushing King Chach outside of his comfort zone
This is why you learn at least some of the language of the country you are visiting. People always tell me that enough people speak English in other countries, but its what Tj experienced is why id at least learn a bit of said country's language.
So inspiring to see both you and Dustin driving R34 gtrs in Japan! Been watching you since 70k and Dustin since 25k and both of y'all have grown so much since then!
You should get help and call the ETC place. The first toll stop that didn't read your card gave you a ticket you were supposed to put in at the exit. The lady's voice at the exit let you out to pull into the building to pay. The ETC machine also jabbers about an expiration date you should check on too.
You can see the difference in culture appreciation with Dustin and TJ. TJ has a long way on catching up on being humble and being respectful knowing that he is in someone elses country and not in U S of A.
Excuse me! If you love Japanese culture, you might like my music! You can listen to it for example on my channel! Thank you for the attention and have an amazing day! 😉
Such a great duo with you guys I’ve been loving the vlogs! Glad you linked up with Dustin, that clip in his video where you reflect on how far you’ve come is awesome. Love how your circle of friends are all able to do this good on you all including throttl.
Hearing the kind words at the end, reflecting on all the journey you and Dusting have done warmed my heart! I've been following you both since 2016-2017 and one of the things I love the most about cars is how you can make true friendships with other people. Seeing you both, who are the youtubers/influencers I adore the most together Is amazing, please, don't stop being friends
6 years ago I rented a bayside blue r34 and a bugeye blue STI and did a roadtrip in Japan with my now wife and a bunch of homies. Watching you guys go through the electronic toll collection (ETC) lanes HIT HOME. We got stuck in the ETC lanes who knows how many times. We dont know a lick of Japanese and when we were in Gunma, English speaking Japanese was few and far between. It was a STRUGGLE. Glad we shared this sentiment hahaha. This video brought back so many incredible memories
I started binging this Japan series today , just finished the “My 1st mods for my Japan cars” video and then i get the notification for this vid!! Sweeet!! 😁😎
TEEJ. Once you get back, you need to watch Initial D and watch Third Stage. It’s so EPIC!! But it’s also awesome to see you, Dut,Masa, Mickey all in one video!!
Loving the Japan vlogs! Daily content is keeping me going this week lol. Also octane content in other countries is measures differently so that’s why it says 100+
The square yellow thing that Grant mentioned are known as speed-breaker, you can found in every asian countries. The sole purpose of that thing is to make sure you slow down during corners to avoid any accident just like what Grant thought it was
Been loving watching the sneak peaks at everything on Instagram and then getting the context in the vlogs 🫶🏼 it’s been so fun with this trip to Japan!!!
Grant is correct , then yellow lines are called dragon stripes and they are to prevent drifting.... we have them all over the place here in Tochigi, even on some very remote roads.... these days the cops even setup trail cameras to catch people drifting at night.... but you can have a lot of fun once you know which roads are safe to drive on.
Some tolls don’t have ETC card. When that happens, you go through the normal lane, you take out the card and they’ll take it. If they give you a yellow slip, you need to use the non-ETC line at the next toll and hand in the yellow slip and ETC card together.
I think this was great. Like when you all collaborate together like this. I watch all you guys and it's really awesome seeing from the eyes of all or you. Grant, Dustin, Sam and now DJ and Tommy is there. Japan content is the 🔥
I’m so sorry for not commenting on all the Japan videos but it was because I was so into all the Japan vlogs I liked every single one and watched every single one go back to Japan and do more travel trips with friends I absolutely loved the daily vlogs In Japan it was amazing!!
Bro just imagine after a week at ebisu and then you meet up with your boys from back home rolling deep in the togues of Japan in r34s. What a fucking vibe man. #keepmovingforward
Took a day to get caught up but this was a killer vid . Actually driving around an then at the end at the legendary parking lot that all the craziest cars an bikes go-to an recreating the Tshirt ...sheesshhh.
TJ Hunt Awesome Video I think it's absolutey incredible that you did a Togue Run in your R34 GTR with 3 other R34 GTR's and I had a great time at that Car meet
Been loving these video man! I have been off TH-cam for a bit but I have been catching up on your videos and I love them! Keen to get the R34 tshirt! 🖤
4:09 They explain next toll gate you need to go 一般(E pan) because your ETC car was not register as enter this toll gate. That's why your received little ticket at the toll gate. 7:50 Because previous ETC car was not register so gate is not open. You suppose to be go 一般 the pay cash. 8:00 Toll gate lady was explain after gate open you need to pull over and come in for pay toll fees. So technically you did not pay toll fees. 17:50 That True bumps for not due stupid things.
17:34 is the official downhill touge that initial d filmed on that exact downhill its famous for that so a lot of car guys in japan go for that touge if they r around there
Teej you gotta start taking some Japanese classes like Dustin did to help you out on your trips in Japan don’t wanna get pulled over just as they opened the country again 😅😅
Japan and Europe use different octane rating systems (RON) vs USA (AKI). So roughly their 100 octane is our 95 which is still amazing, and their 98 octane is our 93.
Grant's kinda right kinda wrong. 98octane (ron rating) in japan is the equivalent to 93octane (aki rating) in the US. But yes higher octane generally smells better
Lol on your r34 ebisu touge run video I commented TJ's r34 touge run vs Dustin's idea of a r34 touge run sitting in traffic stop & go. Low and behold meet up with Dustin and sit in traffic on a togue in the r34's lol killing me.
Tourist TJ is really out here testing the limits of his and the host country's comfort zone lol seeing him constantly struggle with the language barrier and the flow of Japanese life, and the guaranteed "fuck!" in exasperation, or the absolute butchering of the language is hilarious! This lol
Best freaking comment loool.
Tj is trying though lmao
This is why you learn at least some of the language of the country you are visiting. People always tell me that enough people speak English in other countries, but its what Tj experienced is why id at least learn a bit of said country's language.
Finally you and Dustin in Japan... After 5 years. Daikoku. Both R34. Both came a long way I wish you did a drag race w him blue Vs white haha
Legendary
If they raced the cars would break
I wish they stayed together longer so Dustin can show him around and show him the cool spots and food places
They never hangout anymore I thought they might have fallen out or something
@@Darth_Diddious fr the gas in japan is so much better lol, and tbh I don’t ever see anyone doing roll racing like in the states in japan
Seeing TJ panic and Dustin be used to things it’s so funny 😂
Loving the TJ and DW Japan vlogs. You guys gotta do more together.
So inspiring to see both you and Dustin driving R34 gtrs in Japan! Been watching you since 70k and Dustin since 25k and both of y'all have grown so much since then!

The lady's voice at the exit let you out to pull into the building to pay. The ETC machine also jabbers about an expiration date you should check on too.
I hope it's been resolved or will be resolved as it's not cool to skip out on paying your toll fee lol.
You can see the difference in culture appreciation with Dustin and TJ.
TJ has a long way on catching up on being humble and being respectful knowing that he is in someone elses country and not in U S of A.
Tj and Grant are the best Duo for real, Videos are funny as fk 😂😂😂😂😂
Excuse me! If you love Japanese culture, you might like my music! You can listen to it for example on my channel! Thank you for the attention and have an amazing day! 😉

Ah man grant and tj together are hilarious 😂😂😂😂
Grant's advice when TJ's not sure when to go on a toll road "Keep moving forward" Love these Japan Vlogs!
Hearing the kind words at the end, reflecting on all the journey you and Dusting have done warmed my heart! Wise words from the great Grant, "Don’t stop……keep moving forward"
Gotta say Im loving these japan vlogs

Such a great thing seeing you and dut
All of those R34s just cruising down the mountain made me happy lol 😂
Beautiful country over there. Vibe and a half.

TJ and Grant. This is Gold content 🔥 Keep Moving forward.
Your best vlog yet, great job TJ.
The yellow squares are there so you can see the corner...it's only bumpy because of the material and overlay.
My mate went to a car meet when he went to Japan just before covid hit at that carpark. They definetely get some awesome cars there.
TJ Hunt Awesome Video I think it's absolutey incredible that you did a Togue Run in your R34 GTR with 3 other R34 GTR's and I had a great time at that Car meet
Was nice seeing Dustin in Minnesota for the season closer for MNIllest. It was lit 🔥

Wow, those mountain roads are epic, shame you couldn't get some sideways action down those dream roads!
4:09 They explain next toll gate you need to go 一般(E pan) because your ETC car was not register as enter this toll gate. That's why your received little ticket at the toll gate.

0:15 There are two types of people in this world. I love them both.
don't usually comment but I loved these recent videos of you going to Japan 🙂🙂🙂
TJ, you have to go through the ETC lane. Its designated.
17:34 is the official downhill touge that initial d filmed on that exact downhill
its famous for that so a lot of car guys in japan go for that touge if they r around there
the octane rating in Japan is different to that of the Rating in the USA, RON vs AKI

Love seeing TJ and Dustin together again, its been too long. Thought they had some beef BTS 😂
I love this series
Japan and Europe use different octane rating systems (RON) vs USA (AKI). So roughly their 100 octane is our 95 which is still amazing, and their 98 octane is our 93.
That Boss coffee is my favorite. It's even better coming out a vending machine hot.
Boss, Cafe au lait....said it right on the can 😅. Anyways it's coffee with steamed/hot milk when it's made
Okay, that photo recreation of the tshirt was sick and totally unexpected.
That photo recreation could be a sick poster!
Honestly the blue is the one 💯

Grant's kinda right kinda wrong. 98octane (ron rating) in japan is the equivalent to 93octane (aki rating) in the US. But yes higher octane generally smells better
Lol on your r34 ebisu touge run video I commented TJ's r34 touge run vs Dustin's idea of a r34 touge run sitting in traffic stop & go. Low and behold meet up with Dustin and sit in traffic on a togue in the r34's lol killing me.
