6/14/22: This was the most informative of ALL purse hardware videos I've seen thus far. I especially LOVE that you not only show the hardware, but how they're used and the finished product. Thanks so much for going the extra mile to share this wonderful tutorial. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

My favorite hardware is magnet closures and feet. I have used gold chain links from lamp cords for my hardware, the hubby separated them for me and they worked great. A wonderful flee market find. ;)

Hello from Florida. I am a purse lady. My favorite purse hardware is magnetic snaps and adjustable slider for straps.

I love the sliders so the straps can be adjusted, I also like the magnetic closures they work really well.

I absolutely hands down love your tutorials and video. Your explanation and directions are so clear and concise. Do you have a complete bag making series for absolute beginners. I need and I’m sure there are other newbies too, beginner assistance from patterns, templates acrylic and paper, interfacing, tools Etc. I live in Florida and so fare in the 3 years I’ve been here, there are no handbags classes. So I depend on TH-cam and tutorials. I hope you can help. Pink💞

I use 2 D rings as adjusters on my belt purses as they are so flat in use and mean I use less hardware and so keep my purses light.

What about evening bags. What is the hardware that holds a long chain strap to the inside of the purse? Part of it is usually flat and can fit between the clutch closure.
I'm trying to add a long strap to my niece's prom purse and don't know what to call them. So I don't know where to look to find them.

What can you do to a purse strap that you adjusted to very short lengths and it spreads apart when in use and it’s annoying and I can’t find a clip or whatever to keep it together and right now I’m using zip ties that doesn’t look good?

Hi there, thank you for the video! My question is a bit unrelated... Would you have any advice for getting rid of scratches on gunmetal hardware? If there is any... I have a new purse and by just putting long strap on to see how it would look, it got scratched! ;( My understanding is that gunmetal is coated metal. It’s not a bad scratch but I’m a perfectionist so it’s hard to let go when I just got this bag after chasing it for a long time. I hope something can be done. I’d appreciate any advice. Thank you in advance!💗🌞😌
