Thank you so much for sharing your positive experience with diet, exercise and so on, you have been a real lifesaver for me, someone who has only realised they have the lipidema thing at 63 so I’m keen to hear what works for others. Have a great new week, Rebeka! 🧚🏻♀️❤️🐝
@Donna.Walmsley101 welcome to the sisterhood! I'm so glad you are finding the content helpful and that you are starting to feel better. Thanks for sharing your journey with us ♥♥
Hi Rebecca , thank you for sharing! Would you might sharing more? I would love to see what you eat and how during whole day. I know that you are on very strict diet, but do you have any sugar rush? What do you eat if you want anything sweet? Or salty snacks? Or if during the day you want any snacks what do you eat? I also like that you drink coffee. I love coffee and I know some people suggest it’s not good for Lipedema. But I can’t stop drinking coffee 😅
@Janassszzz I will definitely make more about my other meals and routine. Honestly, I eat very few sweet things. The closest I get is the small amount of stevia in my collagen powder. On a work trip overseas last year I did eat a dessert so as not to offend a colleague and I made me feel momentarily high. I was like "WOW sugar is good!" For salty snacks, I'm a huge fan of pork rinds and if you do dairy you could do parmesan cheese crisps. You can make the cheese crisps yourself or find a clean one without too many fillers. I also like the zero-sugar jerky Tillamook sells amzn.to/4atXGt6 They also have sausage sticks. I suspect people don't recommend coffee because it can dehydrate you, but I switched to decaf last year. 💕
You are amazing!!! I am 76 had intestinal bypass surgery age 26 been ongoing battle with health since then I was 220 when had that done now weigh 133 been doing the intermittent fasting just got my prolife vibrator feeling better😊I love your tips and I will look into your vitamins I take a lot of those anyway but I like the best you mentioned to your good health!
Love your glasses! I will check out Aldi's bacon. The information on the back of the back of the package looks good! I love to make my own sauerkraut. I just got a few heads of cabbage to make some. So I will have to get on that. My doctor suggested fermented foods. I was already learning how to ferment foods, so it all became a fun project that also has a special healthy benefiit. We love coffee, but I have a hard time liking it without that creamy dairy. I haven't been tested, but I feel like dairy makes me feel bad. I notice I feel better when I stay away from it, so I think that is testing enough for me, lol. I really should get tested though, because I don't know if fermented dairy causes me problems, like yogurt and cheeses. But it is hard to find a way to enjoy the coffee after getting used to the cream. I haven't found other things I like as well. I will check out your recipe. That is a fun thing for me and my daughter to enjoy coffee together. I have done keto and had success. But I got sick a couple of years ago, was in the hospital, the food there is not keto, so I got away from it and have had a hard time getting back on it successfully. Thank you for all of your suggestions today as alwyas, I enjoy your channel so much. Good to see you today! Thanks for the encouragement. I was diagnosed with venous insufficiency some time ago, but not much success on finding help for it until last year. I had the ablation surgery on veins in my legs. Also found out at the time I had lipedema and lymphedema. So your story is very helpful to me. Thanks again for putting this together today for us. Somedays other things in life take over but this is something that needs to be addressed and not put on the back burner, so I really appreciate coming across your video to keep going. Thanks again!
@gailneedham9930 thank you for your kind words! 🤓 Let us know how the homemade sauerkraut goes! I had the same thought that it must be easy. Can't be harder than yogurt, right? I hear you about the creamy dairy. I never thought I could let go of it, but seeing how much inflammation I dropped changed my mind. Check out my blog about that here: sturdywoman.com/2022/01/30/what-happened-when-i-didnt-eat-dairy-for-a-month-non-dairy-january/ A good fatty coconut cream can be an option if you don't mind a coconut taste. I have also had some success with vanilla collagen powders giving a good taste refer.link/Y4nW Thanks for watching and I hope you are feeling good! ☕❤
I am so thankful I stumbled across your videos… I’ve been binge watching! I have done the food sensitivity test and it came back that coffee is a no go for me!!! 😢 With that being said… you mentioned the LMNT chocolate caramel. Are they good just by themself without the coffee? I also can’t do dairy, not cow, goat or sheep, milk or cheeses!!! Along with no chicken, no turkey, no eggs, no casein… Thank you so much for sharing!!!
@amandapritchard909 do I have a solution for you! My indulgent treat is half a stick of chocolate caramel LMNT in a scoop of chocolate collagen powder (refer.link/gDf6) with some hot water Nutpods almond milk. Chef's kiss! You can also play with the flavor. Sometimes I do half a scoop of chocolate collagen and half a scoop of salted caramel or peanut butter. It's only about 2.5g total carbs and totally dairy free. If you want a little extra fat try a dollop of coconut oil. Let me know if you try it!
Hi everyone. I started utilizing a vibration plate and fascia blasting. Great book by Ashley Black (The Cellulite Myth) discussing fascia and its role in swelling, cellulite, pain, etc. I feel my swelling has gone down after a 12-hour night shift since fascia blasting three weeks ago. Good luck and I hope this helps.
@miaredding1554 are you having any pain or bruising with the fascia blasting? Some people have had negative experiences with it. I've never tried it personally. Sending good vibes either way 💕
@@sturdywoman I go easy and only do with oil or soapy water in shower. Initial bruising but just enough pressure for light massage. It has helped with my swelling. Lymph and lipedema are such a complicated matter. I love your channel because it requires a multi system approach .
@Dirtybootscleansoul my nutritionist recommended this Bergamont and Turmeric supplement for my cholesterol amzn.to/3JaPS3o I have been on it for about four months but haven't been back to my doctor for new blood work yet to see how it's working. I take two in the morning and two at night. Check with your care team to see what's most appropriate for you❤
Thank U sooo much for creating ur TH-cam Channel for those of Us that have struggled for years trying to get to the bottom of why we feel and look the way we do!! Unlike myself I’m sure many others have tried numerous methods of trying to lose the fat off of our bodies and got very little success. I’ve even gone as far as getting a vertical sleeve gastrectomy and lost nearly 80 lbs but the fat didn’t go anywhere! Yes I lost dress sizes and weight but the fat lipids were more visible than ever! I’ve even tried the “Eating Clean” version of a healthy lifestyle of eating and Vegan however I haven’t seen much of a change. So, now that I’m going to try Keto I’m gonna do my food sensitivity test and try some of the supplements you’re suggesting since I’ve tried so many. I do have a question or two, can u make another video or post a snapshot of ur grocery list? Also, do U think Erythritol is a good alternative (ie. Monkfruit) other than Stevia? I’ve tried stevia multiple times and can’t get past the after taste! Thank u sooo much for all of the information you provide on your channel!! ❤
@shannonmccoy9643 Perfect Keto has been my go-to collagen for a few years. I usually do half a scoop of chocolate, half a scoop of caramel, and half an LMNT chocolate caramel electrolyte packet in my coffee. Yum! It's currently on sale for Black Friday / Cyber Monday: amzn.to/3ZzwtRN
@andreasmith8309 that's great! Knowledge is power! And congrats on getting to keep the whites - ha. Unfortunately, both send me running. Glad you are finally getting answers, no matter how long it takes
@allikasterg3021 yes! I make the second one the same as the first with a half scoop of collagen and the other half of the LMNT packet. I used to put a whole scoop and a whole packet in each cup, but am trying to cut carbs lately. Do whichever version works better for you (and your taste buds)!
@HNgr579 I do have high total cholesterol, but part of that is also because my GOOD cholesterol level is high too. We've been given a lot of misinformation about cholesterol over the years - it's not the simple, easy, fool proof indicator we've been made to believe. A good place to learn more about the emerging research on keto and cholesterol is cholesterolcode.com/ My nutritionist did, however, recommend this supplement to help my levels. I'll go back to the doctor in a few months and see if it is doing anything. amzn.to/4aNj4JY
@@sturdywoman Thank you very much. Supplements could interact with other medications , as for example turmeric or curcumin interacts with some blood thinning medication and can cause hemorrhage. Why do you take electrolytes? If eat fermented foods or bacon i feel sick and swell more?? What gives?? I think i have Histamine issue on top of everything else
@01maggie I take electrolytes because they are an important part of a keto lifestyle. Eating low carb causes the body to lose extra salt and electrolytes and not getting enough is a common cause of "keto flu". A few years ago I started feeling light headed frequently and an extra tsp of salt everyday cleared it right up. You can read more about salt and some of the politics behind what we've been told here: amzn.to/3JJTrhg It also sounds like you might be having some food sensitivities. Send me a message through SturdyWoman.com if you want help finding a nutritionist who might have ideas about what's going on
I noticed you use ancient nutrition for one of your supplements. Why don't you for all. You do know that all of there vitamins are fermented for better absorbtion. They are the best. I take their keto bone broth.
@tinastevens750 that's good to know and - yum - on the bone broth! All my supplements were picked out for my by my nutritionist based on my blood tests.

@JuliaSantos-sb1yc that's exactly what it is and I won the jackpot and got two copies of it 😂 It's amazing what a difference I felt when I switched up my B vitamins.
