- Mehmood Achakzai said Punjabi muslims helped Britishers to confiscate the land of pashtoons. Punjabi muslims and Lahoris partnered with hindus and sikhs against Afghans. The statement tried to call muslim punjabis as traitors of the land. This is very irresponsible behaviour by a pashtoon leaders and it is a hate speech.

I grew up in Europe with a European family and they know me as a punjabi not as a Pakistani and I feel proud to that and we all speak punjabi better than urdu with proud and hatsoff to you man ❤

Urdu is actually such a foreign language that elders in villages don't even speak urdu. but most people can speak Punjabi and urdu.

I think he was talking about the Indian Mutiny of 1857. When the British East India Company asked Punjabis to help fight the Indian Sepoy mutineers. Those Punjabis consisted mainly of Sikhs, Muslim Jats, Rajppots, and Pathans. Prior to this Punjab was an independent kingdom, so this act was not "gadari" treachery. Let's be real, many people are jealous of Punjabis in Pakistan and Afghanistan, because Punjabis hold the most amount of power and influence in Pakistan.
