How do you lock the suspension? how do you push the brake piston in? is there a handbrake cable?

Hi there, so you just bring down the suspension to lock it ? Or is there something else to it?

You lower the suspension, then when it's at its lowest point, you push the button again, and this locks it on the low setting

Hi,when you put the new disc on did you have to adjust the rear handbrake?

Not on this occasion, the shoes were fine, and there was very little wear on the hub part of the disc.

My right left disc was blocked by the brake shoe thus it was hard to remove which was not the case for the left side. Then I had to adjust the shoe with the gear wheel.

I had this problem on an older car once. It was because I didn't use the handbrake regularly, so I always make sure I use it these days.

@@thebearworks great to know, I never use the parking brake. But does it mean that when I was driving the shoes was rubbing on the disc inside for this wheel ? I didn't see any overheated mark

It can vary, I used to never use the parking brake and then one time I went on the euro tunnel so put it on. When it came to drive away it wouldn't release! It could be that yours wasn't as bad or was just stiff I guess. If it was rubbing it could have been very mild in that case

Slightly amateurish video imo. No torque figures, stepping on tools, hoodie drawstrings in the way, no mention of wear sensors.. I think there are better videos out there for doing this job.
