So, I am 23 years old, female, and I’m currently in a very difficult situation with my mother and stepsister, Shelly (21f). I used to get along fine with my mother, we were not too close, but we were doing well before she met my stepdad, who passed away recently in a car accident. Luckily, Shelly survived the accident, but unfortunately, she was injured pretty badly. My stepdad and my stepsister have been a part of my life from when I was very little. I've never known my biological father, since he walked away from my mother before I was even born.
She definitely should have gone to the police on the lawyer. The lawyer was corrupt and a disgrace to his profession and what he did was a major felony that would have gotten him disbarred for life and in prison for several years.
She probably should have pressed criminal charges on her mother too but its even more important to do it to the lawyer because there is no telling how many other people who trust him for legal guidance would be screwed over by him.
Sue the attorney for malpractice and fraud

I posted above that its much more important than going after her family. He is corrupt and a disgrace to his profession and if he is not disbarred and imprisoned as he deserves he will harm more people over time. He will ruin the lives of other people by cheating them out of what is rightfully theirs.
In addition to taking what is rightfully yours and the hell with hateful mother/step sister.
Also report the lawyer who will be disbarred. That at the very least even if you leave the family alone.

OP was an idiot, if someone has hated you going all the way into adulthood, they are not going to suddenly turn a leaf and take you in. Some people are so desperate to be loved that they get really stupid. OP's mother never loved her, she only got knocked up in the first place to baby trap her BF and he ran off instead and then her own parents forced her to keep OP instead of getting rid of her. Nice set of grand parents there, force their daughter to keep a baby and never help her in any way. Now I would say that OP should have turned around as soon as the mother started barking orders to her when she arrived, but it turned out for the best later. OP's made a mistake in showing those documents to her mother instead of bringing them to a lawyer right away. Amusing the vile and greedy B's are trying to call OP those same things, after asking OP top come to help out Shelly and then demanding rent to stay there.

OP is a fairly typical abused child who gives crappy parent chance after chance. It's a normal reaction to hope your mom or dad will love you someday. People literally go to their graves willing to give an abusive parent one more chance. Sad but true.

You have no obligation to support someone who has hated you and treated you like crap for your entire life. She wants you to take care of her now that your dad is gone. Stop feeling guilty. By the sound of it, it sounds like op's egg donor blames her for her partner leaving and not staying like she hoped. So I'm not surprised that she treated op so horribly everyday. Glad op went LC with the "grandparents". They could have helped op in some way but didn't. Also, sounds like the stepbrat was jealous of the attention op got from her dad and therefore hated op.
She doesn't even deserve to be called an egg donor. At least egg donors are doing something selfless to help a couple achieve their dreams of being a parent. I would call her a rotten vessal.
This is just the outcome of forced birth. Everyone cares about the fetus- no one cares for the child. Op was very blessed to have just one person care about her future.

OP, it is strange to hear you talking about your mother 'terminating 'the' pregnancy' when what you are talking about is her arranging for you to be killed in a particularly horrific manner. She could responsibly have arranged for you to be taken in by a properly vetted loving family in a professional adoption, where your childhood would have been much happier.
Ah OP has to pay 3000,-$ for the privilege of being their maid.
It’s never the child’s fault have being born and it’s crazy if mothers or fathers reject and treat their kids badly. YOU made those kids!

Absolutely NTA OP. It does not matter what your awful mother and Shelley want. Your father's Will is what he wants to do with his belongings and it is not up to them to dictate this. Your father knew this which is why he put your name on the envelope, entitling you to take it and proceed. After the way your mother behaved towards you, I would have left quietly in the night with it, as there was a chance they could have snatched it from you and destroyed it. Your mother just wanted a servant to do all her work and pay her for the privilege! You owe neither of them anything. You deserve love and affirmation in your life, but you must look elsewhere for it as you will not get it from anyone like that pair. Huge hug and good luck.
OP should have gone to the cops, and that should have been the first course of action. Because she didn't do it, now OP is getting the backlash from all her known circles. Don't try to jump legal process, this will always end up biting your back. Also, OP should make a public post on a social media page, and share everything she has been going through, with screenshots and other evidence found.
Stand your ground and speak the truth, even if it hurts others, first save your own butt.

My advice is to move away your mother going to get compensation and insurance and your step sister is going to get compensation,so making you become the ATM it's time to leave your mother to get on she has money please don't be her door mat
I think you need to consider your self your mother is emotionally abusive as she punishing you for her actions she had unprotected sex you are innocent you owe her nothing so if you're step father left you a inheritance take it and walk away
