IDK if you saw, but on PlatChat one of the Devs said that Cloves win rate was 16% higher than Omens... which is CRAZY lol. I would not have guessed it being that high. Highest ranked winrate the devs have seen in an agent ever.
I think it's coz she's easier to play and hence many players who would go duelist are fine with taking clove and be the smokes player and are contributing much more to fragging than a usual smokes player would.
I would also think one reason for that is omens ability was probably used in more casual ways where they teleport and not use it optimally but clove feels like a duelist so the duelist mains will feel happy and not throw because they didn't manage to lock in their favorite agent
"Sharp" is used in game design to describe things that have clear advantages and disadvantages. For example, brimstone is a very sharp agent because he is the only agent that can deploy 3 dome smokes at once, but he has a clear downside in that he only has three. Phoenix is not a sharp agent because he is designed to be a jack of all trades.
I am super excited about Iso, but still sad his wall didn’t get any changes, even just spawning closer to you so you don’t have to knife out run at the start to catch up to it. Also doubt the Reyna change is anything but a buff for the most part as just a pub stomp champ unless you’re playing in low ranks against a non Smurf. I don’t see how this buffs her in pro play at all.
Even if this buff makes neon super busted in pro pkay, isn't her effectiveness directly countered by cypher. So if her pick rate in pro play suddenly goes up would'nt cypher's go up as well since he's Neons best counter?
I think Neon smurfs would be a much bigger deal than Reyna after this patch. Silver players have no chance of hitting a Neon with Immortal-level movement, and now that they have no accuracy debuff while sliding they can just run it down on players with worse aim than them
3:43 I don't think this is audible for the enemies, it's just the sound effect for you to know the shield has been activated, kinda like the current Iso. I could be wrong though.

I don’t think this is happening any time soon as far as balancing goes because this is the most balanced initiator pick rate we’ve ever seen in pro play. However, his simplicity makes it easier to play in ranked and thus a higher pick rate for ranked
Honestly, cloves ult could easily be 9 cost. Its pretty much the only ult in ranked where you get the dame amount of value from not using as you do using it. You can have ult at the start of the round, w key because of it, get an ace, and still have it for next round to take the same engagements. Some other ults also have similar value where they change how opponents play from just having it online (like kayo ult) but its the only ult that changes how YOU play from simply having it online, and youre the only consistant factor in your games.
Neon was already so annoying before no she's going to be unbearable in all aspects, I really don't think neon belongs in valorant with the way shooting works in this game
if the new map is good for neon (which it looks like it will be due to how small it looks) along with the new haven changes then she could single-handedly smash the meta

just so everyone knows this is speaking in terms of percentage of a given winrate. say omen's winrate was 50%, clove's would be 58% not 66%.
True I pick clove bc my duelist are shit most of the time and clove is just an easy 25+ kills

Pick Me Up was super strong on pistol because it's not just a heal, but it's also a stim so movement speed is incrceased.
yeah being able to buy pick me up, decay, and a ghost or frenzy on pistol was kinda busted lol
They should've just increased the cost. The haste is nice but it wasn't game breaking idk why they nerfed the duration

Optic used to run Neon on Haven that might make a comeback with the raze nerfs
Shield sound says it plays at the end of channel so telegraphing the hit won't be an issue as long as you time it correctly when team is going in
I wonder if Iso would now get a free shield in his ult, because currently it actiivates Double Tap when you enter it.

it's full movement accuracy so during the slide, guns act like you're standing still. so it'd still be pretty inaccurate to no scope

You missed the raze movement speed nerf. It had no metrics, so we will have to see how it feels in game.
The devs said about 20%. They can’t give exact numbers cause the velocity calculation makes it not exactly 20% due to distance and positioning.
It feels a lot slower. For example i could go from Bind A site heaven all the way upto front of U hall now I can only make it upto default
