Half Sour Pickles (Fermented in Refrigerator)

  • I love half sour pickles. When I go to a deli or a sub shop I always love getting the pickle on the side and this is my take of that pickle. It is fermented in the refrigerator and this is probably the easiest fermentation that you can possibly do. With just a few ingredients and time in the refrigerator you will have these crisp delicious pickles to enjoy.
    Ingredients:
    2 pounds of small cucumbers
    2 quarts of filtered water no chlorine (2 Liters)
    2 tablespoons pickling and canning salt (66 grams)
    1 teaspoon coriander seeds
    1 teaspoon whole black pepper corn
    1 teaspoon mustard seed
    5 to 6 bay leaves or 1 fresh grape leaf
    6 cloves of garlic
    Dill Weed about 1/2 cup
