Cloth is fine by me. Leather (fake leather now) seems good for cooking in the summer and freezing in the winter.

Also, don't get confused by fancy terms like customer loyalty (minor discount) and supply chain crisis (scarcity) and chip shortage (scarcity) and labor strike (scarcity) and inflation (price increase). ... You are correct if you have noticed the price of New Civics starting to increase since Pre-C (2018-2019-2020). ... But, I must say, the new 10th and 11th Gen Civics are pretty nice for a compact econo car. Fun ride overall. ... Just wish the price would return to pre-pandemic levels.

If you run the price through the inflation calculator it’s actually the cheapest the civic has been in years.
that may be but our wages hasn’t seen the same increase rate as inflation rates

Overpriced vehicle. For that money there is many other options on the market.
It is at a premium compared to its competition but I like the LX because I'm not fond of Honda's 1.5T with DI. I like cloth seats better than leather. I'd like heated mirrors, that is a safety thing and the blind spot monitoring should become standard too. The wheel locks for steel wheels are sort of like buying condoms for a Eunuch.
I think you get a whole lot of car for the price. You can still charge your phone or other devices. It's the perfect car for going out for a coffee, to work, visit family or friends, single people, couples, and small families.
Obviously it's nothing to camp in, but it seems suitable and comfortable for long distance trips as well. 💙

Cloth seats don't get cold or hot! Cloth every time!!
They do get cold, as well as hot... They are material objects, so they obey to the laws of physics...
The price is insane. You get nothing for the money. LX trim should be below 20k.

Great review. And to answer your question I think the price does match the value of the car.
I have a 2020 same model. They removed a ton of features that were upgraded. No camera when you turn on the blinker to make a right hand turn. No power seats to adjust. So strange. Almost like they downgraded

in Houston some dealerships have them priced about 25-26k

My brother has the sport trim of this car. It's a nice vehicle. Great ride quality. A little loud but for a runabout it's great.
Really nice car I wish you could get it with a manual transmission.
I wish the sport had a sunroof and at least power seat to the drive side. And have rear vents standard. Last gen it had more features

I know some people aren't fond of buying used, but a LX base model Civic at $25,000 is insane. You'd be better getting a used Accord Touring with max features, last gens design, but worth it. This Civic is a great car nonetheless, but just keep in mind the price

I bought the civic hatchback sport 2 weeks ago, it’s great. I’m in canada so the sports version is identical to the touring minus the entertainment upgrades
I'm in Canada I got the ex b model not bad the 2.0 could use an extra hp but it's fine for me. What % did you get yours at I'm at 5.1%
And I got mine last June

I do wish it had remote start, and cup holders (not just for small bottles) in the side of the door.
The funniest part - it does have a remote start, but you have to change the key in order to make it work, the car has it, but the key lacks the option.
Does any of the civics have air vents in the back?
Only in some Asia
Here in Canada theres the ex b option that gives you remote start sunroof use b ports in the back for the extra money worth it
Moonroof is a deal breaker. Less head room, glass roof, rattle...
