Renault really stepped up their game with their new generation of cars. Looking forward to you testing the new Rafale. However I wish they would make some sedans again, all of their cars are basically the same suv-type boxes from the outside.

Does the vogue for very narrow headlights, mean less light penetration? Must surely. Best lights I ever had was on my Modus which had cornering turning lights agumentening the foward lights.

Dan, asteptam si ceva informatii despre plafonul panoramic. Ai condus-o in testele de saptamana asta: sunt curios, cand e soare, protejeaza opacizarea aia? Sau se simte tot ca la Tesla? Merita 1500 de euro? Sau tot mori de cald?

The Techno is best with most mileage, why it is I don't know, by single figures. The heated soothes tired muscles.
@@SDADanCarsit's not really a 360° camera unless you've got a overhead drone filming. It's only a computer simulation.
@@seltaeb3302wrong. Alpine is the best iv tested them all and ordered the one in this video even the same colour but in matte paint

What would be a better choice Renault Scenic E-Tech or Tesla Model Y ?
Both are good cars … hard to say … depend on your personal preference… also depends on if you have Tesla service in your country
i notice that the graphics on main cluster screen is some kinf of weird..the speedometer numbers dont show right.its like the right number is behind the map :) looks weird..you can see the number 5 at 21:25 in your video..other thing i know that 360 cam is a option you can buy with autopark :) the car looks a bit like the other french cars but somehow i like it..i forgot 1 thing.. :) why do french cars always have these weird cartoon colors icon in their car software ? :) its a ev car and should be minimalistic high tech graphics :) just my opinion :) greta review btw :)

If you have money ID.7 but with DCC Pro … otherwise Scenic is also great … depend on many factors… best go and test drive both … Scenic offers alot for the price … is hard to choose one
Renault build quality is high in comparison to vw, and especially tesla 😂 those are falling apart in carwashes and after some years

Hybrids, you are carrying around this extra dead weight. Best go fully electric, as if it's a hybrid you'll wish to have paid for a full EV.
@@seltaeb9691 lol it is like 50kg battery it is not that much weight. Also I have autonomy of 1000km, unlike EV and I can refuel anywhere in 5min for another 1000km

The wheels and the seats are way better in the Alpine. The iconic have those terrible seats similar to the Megane E Tech which are not very good

40min 10-80% is way to slow!
Chargeport is indeed on the wrong side, already seen Meganes not releasing the cable bechose of to much tension.
What was renault thinking releasing a ev with 40min charging?
0 to 80% around 40min because it has a big battery of 87kWh it is normal if you calculate in comparison with other … in my tests it was charging pretty quick
Just park closer. I would wrap the cable with an old blanket if it's on the body work. In UK it's RH drive, but should still be fine. I'd buy a extension cable for it, prob solved.

no matrix headlights is almost a dealbreaker for me... on top of a really REALLY bad charging curve (more like a charging slope) and no ventilated seats wut this last one I probably can live without

@@SDADanCars not really... It's the price of an iD.4 or even a Model Y LR 51k€ for the Esprit Alpine and 54k€ for the Iconic... It's a bit too expensive when you compare to other options like VWs that charge way faster, or Teslas that can do the same range with 10kWh of battery less and literally double the horsepower... The only thing the Scénic has is its looks
Matrix headlight are stupid and annoying to others good led headlights are better overall
About the matrix headlight of Tesla, I would like to see how it performs. Seeing how poorly they succeed to make work normal automated headlights, their matrix headlight must be something fun to see.
I laughed so much when I saw their proximity "sensors" in action since they removed them. But if I had a Tesla, I would certainly cry.
The LED lights are great, full beam it's a long long illumination. Never heard of matrix.
The problem with Renault, like other French brands, is that after 3 months they start to fall apart and you spend your time at the dealership; I'm French myself and I'll never buy a French car ever again... I'd buy this Scenic if it would have been Japanese or German for instance.
My Scenic MK3 diesel is 9yrs old & NOT falling apart. In 8yrs, I've had a new bty, brakes, timer belt & tyres.
@@seltaeb9691 That's already a lot of parts replaced compared to many german cars. I drove an Audi A3 for 8 years, never had to replace any parts at all.
