Be cool if they made a rhythm tracks where it's both in one and all tracks are assignable so u can choose if u wanna use them as sample synth or midi tracks ..
@@alexmarshall9574this plus an ai interface that scans all phones in the area and pulls a set of samples that will be perfectly tailored nostalgia bits you can loop into your mix. The dj will become a conductor mixing streams of ideas and premade sequences. Gone are the vinyl records which are basically time capsules at this point. Just casually playing other people’s music won’t be enough in the future and I’m excited to hear whatever happens.
@@alexmarshall9574I was also thinking something similar. Like a whole Circuit Surface, with the Tracks, Rhythm, Mono Station and a Launch Control all combined and using the synth engine and effects from the Novation Peak as the icing on the cake. Well we can dream huh.
Looking very much forward to the making of this set. Project setup, midi setup, project switching, processing, sound banks (isotonik yeah, but as is or tweaked?). Again, great work, tnx! 🔥🔥🔥
Fantastic set, very cool! Thanks for sharing! Your videos have been SO helpful to me over the years. QUESTIONS: (1) How much did you "practice" this set beforehand, if at all? (2) What are your favorite ways of smoothly transitioning from one section (one track/"song"/segment) to the next?
Man, I'm almost to the end and I am just BLOWN AWAY! This is so fucking good. You really should be playing out at venues. If you came out to the SF bay area I would so come see you play.
Your content and musical ability has progressed massively over the last couple of years. This is a class demonstration in of what these two machines can achieve together. My question to you, if you wanted to start making Techno, but could only have one, which one would you choose first?
Thanks so much! I'd pick the Rhythm, since it lends itself well to percussive stuff like the music in this video (kick drums, bass one shots, etc). Most of what you hear in this is Rhythm, with the Tracks filling stuff out or adding elements that are more dynamically tweakable.
Bomba, adoro, dai tuoi video tutorial al tuo modo di produrre musica. Technone proprio come diciamo in Italia. Dajeee Saluti e abbracci da Italia ma ora mi in Spagna ahahah daje bross
Good morning, Great man 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏! now, you left me in doubt again. Should I buy a Curciut Rhythm or a Roland Mc 101 to accompany my Curcuit tracks? Hehehe Have you ever used all 3 together?
I haven't used all three together, but you might check out my video on combining both Circuits from earlier this year. It's a combo I've grown to love the capabilities of, but it has some frustrating quirks.
Brilliant, love this Gabe! How do you get your drums to sound so phat? I find my Circuit Rhythm is a bit light when I want to beef things up a bit! Cheers 😊
Das ist vor allem gut produziert, auf meinem Tennisball grossen Bluetooth Lautsprecher(mono) (wo ich es gerade höre) klingt das kraftvoll und definiert. 👍🏻
I wish Novation would make a CT with all channels for internal or external synth. It would pair even better with CR and some small synths to be sequenced, processed, sampled and mixed. I just have a few volcas and considering an sp 404 or digitakt but crossing my fingers for an improved CT. Not in a hurry, just a beginner's thought.
Nice video. Good to see you back. Questions 😀 hmm. 1. Ok my MC101 with Reaper are my mainstays what would constitute a reasonable upgrade in a grove box 2. Woovebox I now have one and am slowly getting my head around it 3. Behringer JT-4000 again just got one would love to see a review 4. Behringer Pro VS Mini - ditto
Thanks, glad to be back! I haven't tried the Woovebox yet, and I'm not doing a ton of reviewing of new gear at the moment, so I probably won't be much help with your specific questions unfortunately.
Wow, really great set man. Ah, god damn, just reached the "hardware heavy" drop. Love it 😂😂😂 You don't seem to care much about sticking to a specific genre, but this style sounds pretty "like-a-glove" to me. Thanks! I might be a bit outdated here, are these new songs/unreleased?
very nice sounds, im wondering how much of it you produced on the machines and how much was loops playing from packs. I also use both machines in live environment and I am wondering how different your workflow is from mine.
Gabe is back. Novation are gonna make some box with synth and PCM samples and onboard mic you watch. In Circuit format and better than op1 o SmplTrek or KOII
@@GabeMillerMusic I've thought about this a lot and what they're most lacking is polyphonic sample playing ability for my particular needs. I'd be happy if they make a new concept with the current body that's Rompler/PCM based or they make a 16-track version that includes everything the other circuits can do but adds some proper Rhodes, Hammond, and acoustic piano samples with Rompler-type polyphony. If you think about it it would still fit in a backpack so could be your travel groovebox... Anyway it was nice to hear a full set from you.
Thanks! The vocals are samples I made or got from Splice, which I loaded into the Circuit Rhythm. Since the Rhythm is a sampler, you can load in whatever sounds you want.
It’s funny you never really connected them and it has some problems as you stated but bam 💥 this is fire 🔥 hope we get a combined pro circuit fingers crossed 🤞
So eventually you’ve turned the master/slave around so that the Rhythm is controlling the Tracks, I assume the timing glitch is not as bad as it was when the Midi control was the other way around?
The setup is the same as the previous Circuit combo set, with the Rhythm as the master in both cases. I just get around the project switching glitches by switching scenes on both devices simultaneously any time I need to launch longer progressions on the Tracks.
The mega making of video is live! th-cam.com/video/5cdTkFrhNUU/w-d-xo.html
At this point Novation should be giving you a signature model Circuit.
I'm not sure it would be worth it for them, but that would be rad
I can picture it now: basically this setup as one device but with a tactile mixer in the middle (maybe throw in an x/y pad for filter sweeps)
Be cool if they made a rhythm tracks where it's both in one and all tracks are assignable so u can choose if u wanna use them as sample synth or midi tracks ..

Novation should hire you. You have the best understanding of what makes these boxes magical.
Thanks! The Circuits are still underrated a lot of the time
Making of video coming whenever I get time. Drop your questions here in the meantime, and I might incorporate them into that video.
What postprocessing was done on the audio?
Could you make an hour long liveset on Circuit? What's the limit (duration)?
Looking very much forward to the making of this set. Project setup, midi setup, project switching, processing, sound banks (isotonik yeah, but as is or tweaked?).
Again, great work, tnx! 🔥🔥🔥
Just want to clearly understand which is doing what/what parts, please! 🧐🤔 Still deciding between these two, for starters

Nice to see you still making music on the circuits.
Got a Rhythm on order, then this pops up in my feed.
Not like I was waiting badly as it was.. lol.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 You are literally the reason i went dawless
Thanks!

@@GabeMillerMusic You already achieve this! Incredible

Thanks! I turn up the distortion very slightly on a lot of my drums, mostly on the kicks. Adds some nice saturation
Excellent! 👏🏻
Been waiting for this for a long time! :)
Holy guacamole! That was some serious stuff!
I'm here 🖤👻🎶😁😲

Great set @GabeMillerMusic Im sure this will get the Drumcode Adam Beyer fans bouncing!
This is really good
Love your music. Please share more of this set! Do you have any news from Novation regarding those "bugs"?
Thank you! The continuation to harder techno is here: th-cam.com/video/FUoxZ_AxHPw/w-d-xo.html
No word from Novation on the bugs, unfortunately.
Nice one
Banger mate 😮
You're making me miss my Circuit Rhythm! Ha!
I had a dilemma which one to buy. Now I know I need both ;)

Thanks! I did a detailed walkthrough here: th-cam.com/video/5cdTkFrhNUU/w-d-xo.html
It's all produced on the Circuits themselves.
Can you make a video of how to build this set and how you create this set etc?
Yes definitely!
Gabe is back. Novation are gonna make some box with synth and PCM samples and onboard mic you watch. In Circuit format and better than op1 o SmplTrek or KOII
I have no idea if there will be a new Circuit, or what form it would take, but I love the interface and think it could be taken a lot farther

Do you recommend any portable speakers to work with the Circuits?
Thanks! I don't have any specific speakers in mind, but anything with an aux in will work if you run a cable out of the headphone jack of the Circuit
🔥
W.I.C.K.E.D.
You should play a set at Knobcon 2024

omnom tasty beats \o/

damn. Are these the default synths on the tracks?
They're mostly patches sold by A Force Truly Evil on Isotonik
Whats with the wrist straps? Do you have bad wrists?
I actually do have injury-prone wrists, but those are just silly fingerless gloves to go with the rave vibe
So eventually you’ve turned the master/slave around so that the Rhythm is controlling the Tracks, I assume the timing glitch is not as bad as it was when the Midi control was the other way around?

What would you call it, tech house?
