In today's avideo I am showing more ideas for adding backgrounds to your junk journal pages. We are all about making layers and adding all the fun things. In this video I show a few more ideas for adding that first layer using different art supplies, napkins and tissue paper. Anything goes in Junk Journaling! I finished doing the washing tape on the sides of pgs. just before you came on. Some pgs. did not come out well because I just couldn't get the tape on 1/2 the page and fold it onto the next pg. It was not thin washi. So I ended up putting a piece of washi on each side instead of folding over. I liked how it looks that way. This was my first time doing this with washi ( folding in half) ; maybe 2nd time will be better. I am really enjoying this series AND also learning. I do lots of papercrafts, junk journals, but never did this. SO FUN! Thank you for teaching this series!🤗😊😉

I love making backgrounds, in fact, I have a watercolor book...ok probably several books full of just backgrounds I make when I need something mindless.
I've never had gelatos although I've always wanted to try them but like you said the price is high. A lot of people keep the baby wipes after they've used them, let them dry out and use them in journals as pages or flowers on the pages. I use crayons too.

You can spray hair spray on the chalky watercolors. I love your ideas ! Thank you for sharing! New subbie!!
They do sell a set of daubers that has brown in it on Amazon . I love your pages. Thank you for sharing your process, because I was always wondering how you did them. 🥰🥰🥰
If you find a box to put your journal in, the spay does not go all over. Look up Tim
Holtz splat box and then make one of your own.
I think the best way tonuse the sprays is to open the bottle and tap it on tue page from the bottom of the straw part... then just dab it with a paper towel
I been wanting to do these books for awhile but didn’t know how to start so I been follow your tutorials and have finally got a star thank you for that …….I have found a huge book at a thrift store that has nothing but animals of the world I would like to send you some pages where can I do this and what animals our fish or insects would you like
