Making my first altered composition book, I’ve done the cover , glued the pages, and have added the washi tape. I’ve been watching all your videos in the series and this is the part I can’t wait to do.

I cut the coffee sleeves about 1/4 inch on back side. That leaves a little flap to glue onto page. You can then make it be a flip(if you only glue one side), a belly band (if you glue two sides), or a pocket(if you glue three sides).
I have to thank you so much, learning from you and craftygirl I am getting passed at 67 everything has to be perfect what a freedom I am crafting all the time now and really enjoying it. You are teaching me so much.
Thank you for answering my question about a tip in! I had never heard that word before. I put pkts. and corner tucks and envelopes in my Junk Journals, but not the tip in where you tape one side and write on the other! Great idea🙂 I like the flipping back and forth. Maybe I should think more about what I put in my j.j. I also use seed packets when I make my cards and j.j. We have some of the same washi tapes! I also like the ones from $ Tree...HA! Today I spent all afternoon decorating the first pg. with the month on it and! also Sept. 1 and 2!! It was so fun!!! I had music on and it was great! Also had my tea🙂 My first bk. will be Sept., Oct., and Nov. Only because I have a personal daily journal and a blessing journal and a quote journal as well as prayer journal...PHEW!!! I just love to journal but know everyday won't be possible first time around. Dec. will be all by itself. Thank you for all you have taught me🙂 Esp. to paint, color, etc. the basic pg. sometimes first. Your pgs. are so good! I'm excited, needed a new craft😀😊😁😘.
