Altered Composition Book~ Sewing Random Pages to create a Junk Journal

I am assembling my journal for November and December, I am adding book pages from the Little Golden Book I will be using for Christmas and different pretty cardstock paper. I mentioned the book binding kit I purchased ( amzn.to/3TfKzDu ) but I just saw for a few dollars more, you could get multiple colored waxed twine here ( amzn.to/3D5z3F5 )

Comp books are so versatile!! Pages hanging over…you are right, once all the beautiful fluff is in, it’s no biggie. Binding…the struggle is real, but it always works out in the end. Can’t wait to see you create in this 😊

I ordered my Christmas Journal Kit from you a couple of hrs. ago. I AM SOOO EXCITED AFTER WATCHING THIS!!!! CAN'T WAIT TO GET IT!!😁😁😁! I have the exact same binding kit. Love the wax thread, works like a charm. I bought tons of the red, white and green pompom trim at the $Tree. Missed it last yr. Also bought some gold fringe ribbon for trim. AND some red, green and white verigated cotton yarn (the kind dish cloths are made of) to make paperclip tassels. AND some C-Mas charms to hang down the spine! WOO-HOO!!! Great tutorial🤗. Hello! Yes the Dollar tree brand is too thin. I have used it but I prefer Walmart or Staples brand!
