You should win an oscar for that performance. Best actor and best supporting actor.
So two Oscar’s. 😂
No
He's got my vote!!
Spot on with his bashing fans! Doing a fantastic job sir. Keep up the super content.
Best supporting should go to the single bib strap for sparing the audience retinal and emotional damage. 😉😂🤣
I've had enough Puddin! I swear if you EVER shorten another long bed, or rescue one more piece of rusty junk I will sit here and watch every video! Heck, I'll sit here and watch you build a new shop again!
The Puddin and Mortske lore is one of the best things on YT😂
Puddin' done shook the straw out of the primer can 😄
Puddins’ Fab Shop… single handedly Making Mondays Great Again
Glad the white walls are not stuffed up into the fenders. The right height and stance 👍🎉🍺❤️
amen to that
Absolutely!!!
Now they need a hat MMGA lol
I was an army ranger for 6 years thank you for your service puddin
And you got your service as well
Thank you for YOUR service as well, sir.
Army ranger for 6 years where did you serve?
Happy Veterans Day, Jacob! Thank you for your service! 🇺🇲
Love your intro narrative, you're spending the money in all the right places!
This has been one of my favorite build series yet
Little tip for removing spring bushings.
1. Burn the rubber with your torch. Let it cook until the center sleeve falls out.
2. Gently slice the outer sleeve with the torch once it's sliced it will practically fall out.
3. Install new bushing
I've been working at a spring shop in Michigan for almost 30 years and that's the method I use too.
I don't heat spring steel it takes the temper out of it. But yes that does work.
I use a sawzall through the eyelet on the outer sleeve I cut where the eyelet has a depression so I don’t cut into the leaf
You know whats crazy, I would never lower a truck. Hell, if i ever came into possession of a Datsun mini truck I'd probably put a lift kit and mud tires on it and watch it struggle to make it up a hill. Anyway, I say that because I really enjoy Puddin's content and the work he does. Guy makes some cool shit. Dude likes what he likes, and that's cool with me. Never miss an episode and even got some merch. Keep kicking ass man, you deserve all the success!
You have obviously gotten some gruff from some people. You keep doing things YOUR way and ignore the hatters. We love watching whatever you do.
I agree with every word of this.
Puddin your the dad uncle and friend we all need. Thanks for making my day better buddy.
Wouldn't mind if he was my neighbor, that would be great 😃
The long bed thing in the beginning of video had me cracking up. Thanks for staying funny Puddin!
I do actually do enjoy your shenanigans, but today’s was exceptional. I was almost in tears laughing so hard. Great job puddin
Agreed!
Happy Veteran's Day, Puddin' and Thank You for Your Service! We truly appreciate your 6-years of service. Thank You. Lovin' the Tats 🥰 You're lookin' good and healthy, Puddin' #longbedsmatter #HanktheTank I hope she gets the truck
I kinda have that feeling its gonna be hers for some reason too. He keeps calling her car a not so nice name, even though its just the name of a feminine product. Funny thing is, I got the same car as hers, just the 'lemonade yellow' flavor as Chevy calls the paint.
Thank you for your 6 years of service!!!!!!
That’s one of the rarest specials GMC ever produced. It’s a Farmer’s Harvest Half special edition. The only easy giveaway to spot one is the short 6 1/2 ft bed with six, count’em, six stake pockets. Lol
I at least kinda relieved that I'm not the only one that has these kind of days in the shop. Puddin's having a Monday!!! 😅
I love that you and ol mortske go back and forth ribbing one another. I follow both of y'all's channels and it's refreshing to see a couple good ol boys giving each other shit like y'all do. He really likes your pressure washing clips. Hahaha.
Oh yeah, happy veterans day brother. Thank you for serving this magnificent country of ours!!!
Puddin, you’re the luckiest guy. Not because of luck, but because you love your job and with hard work you’ve made it a success.
I think Puddin’s shaker attachment shook the straw loose in the rattle can. 😂
Way better than TV...Keep em coming!
#LongBedsMatter... 😂 Whether it's lifted, slammed, or stock, short bed or long bed, it don't matter. No matter what it turns into it's gonna be waaaay better then being left for dead in a field.
It's a shop! Don't get mad at the air compressor.
Even though its after Veterans Day- Thank you for your service brother.
Love the shortwide conversion and I served 4 years in the Army.
I like both long and short beds. I don't hate.
One of my favorite little skits you did, was “here at puddins spark plug restoration, we DO NOT, cut corners….” Rofl.
I honestly like the long bed, but it does look sweet slammed and shortened
56:30 "Pay attention, yall were staring off that way" (as I was looking at my other screen working on something while watching/listen to Puddin - HOW'D YOU KNOW PUDDIN?!
Excited to see what we have happenin on today's episode!
It’s got the look of an old International pickup truck. I like it.
Thanks for your service Puddin, Happy Veterans Day🎊
I've been watching you for awhile, Happy Veteran's day. I picked up you were in the Air Force, I don't recall what you did. You use one word that our engine mechanics used. "Mammerjamer" We called you guys rubber band winders, They called us nose pickers. Keep up the outstanding work.
My favorite build plus the S10 build love them both you should find a real short bed and make it a long bed and really piss em off 😂
Puddin has the short bed and frame already
hope you and your familly had a great day. thank you for your service.
I enjoy watching Puddin a whole lot more than I did Bad Chad, Happy Veterans Day and thank you for your service.
"If ya know what I'm tryin to say?!" 😂 I had to stop watching that piece of garbage, after the Ford Coupe tantrum.
Two way different channels
Agreed! I used to enjoy him, but like you say, after the Ford bullsh**, I lost all respect, that and the tantrum over the VW thing...he's just gone over the edge ..sad...feel sorry for Joline
I guess its pretty difficult doing a new live video everyday.I think the guys just burned out and frustrated.
bad chad is just a tweaker that builds stupid looking vehicles.
Probably why you had to spray that rattle can upside down is the pick up tube got dislodged with the super shaker 😂
This is the greatest monologue in Puddin’s history!!! Get ready for multiple comments!!! Please do a live premiere bro!!! Get the whole crew involved!!!
You just don’t know the word quit and I admire that. Well done, sir.
Man I love these full make overs and even if the videos where 3 plus hours long I’d still watch them. Thanks for the entertainment Puddin you really do incredible work. Your workmanship is second to none buddy…..👍🏻👍🏻✌️
Happy late Veterans Day Puddin’ glad you made it home
I think it's cool you decide to do a weekly long episode. Most channels would break it down and do 1 vid a day in order to get 7 times the weekly ad rev instead of 1 long vid. Just cool to be able to watch the whole week in 1 vid is all
Last year I used to leave in the comments he would probably be better off cutting these in half and doing two vids a week.. would benefit him But I like these long videos better
I agree I like the longer vid as well but from a financial standpoint a 2 hour vid could be broken down into 6x 20 min vids and his ad rev would be 6x what it is now. Meaning in a months time he could be making 24x what he is now and just imo that would be worth it for him and his fam, can you imagine being able to 24x your income in a month
When I worked for my friend the famous car builder Dan Woods back in the late 70’s early 80’s we lowered Chevy trucks only on Saturdays. We would shorten the lower control arm to make the ball joint rest properly and get the camber right. Plus we’d put the sway are inside the brackets so it would be properly positioned. Few more things also. My lowered black 78 Chevy stepside was really low and I would tow my blown gas drag boat to Parker Az doing 85-90 mph thru the desert with boat in tow, top to my tool box in the bed along with a 55 gallon drum of race fuel and 3 more 5 jugs of fuel and rode beautiful with never ever any problems bottoming out. We used Gabriel air shocks on the rear. Perfect.
"I was gonna be a seal." that right there is why I love Puddin. I don't even need to watch the rest of the video, just 1:20 in and I'm hooked. lol
Right up there with “I almost joined”
I have always wanted to see how to cut a long bed down to a short bed. Very nice.
I love your personality so much Puddin. There’s nothing like Monday and Thursday evenings for me. I laugh so much every week. You provide so much entertainment to so many. That’s why I want to buy ur shirts. They’re awesome and I want to help reward you and your family for all your hard work. I’m appreciative that you did a pre order for the shirts so I could finally get one
Puddin - thank you for your service.
Laughed my butt offfffff with that performance😂😂 #savethelongbeds
I am sorry people don’t understand who owns that truck, or who is running this channel. I was pretty sure it was called Puddin’s Fab Shop. Anyway, I’m not in to lowered short beds. I like lifted long beds. I sure do like your channel though. It is entertaining and informative. I’m pretty sure I could stretch my mega cab dodge for a long bed with what I’ve learned from you and others on TH-cam. I’m happy you are successful with your channel. Keep up the great content.
Get a pneumatic needle scaler. They have different diameter needles and they're the best thing for removing scale and crud from a frame.
I love a needle scaler. I ran one for a spell on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico. If course there’s plenty of rust on oil rigs, but the scaler would clean it off quick.
The end of my oil patch time happened when the hose going to the scaler wasn’t connected properly, and it slipped loose and banged into my face! Almost lost an eye, and that was good enough reason to quick and go back to college.
Scalers are golden, as long as you have the CFMs to run them.
Happy Veterans Day to everybody !!! Keep it doin what your doin Puddin
Thank you for your service. Also, I love you the long videos. You are very entertaining to watch work.
lol born to entertain xD . when i talk to myself it don't normally go that well, loving what your doing with this Truck , new fan from UK :)
Coming from the lowrider community I appreciate that intro. 😂 The amount of hate we get for saving cars from the weeds, people get mad that WE ruined the cars when we put hydraulics on them...😂🤣
Whats funny though is they will never say it to your face. Hitting switches for THEIR $itchs
A car can only make one person happy the man with the title.
Tow truck driver at a car show looked at me and my truck and said to his buddy dumkunt will high center then I will have to rescue her, 5/7 beltech kit on my Obs long bed, my truck is not lower then that factory Cadillac, trust me I won’t need you tow guy
Stop lying..
You guys have ruined a bunch of showroom cars just to bend the frame.
well i too hate hydraulics but its better than seeing a rotted out vehicle i suppose
Oh Yeah! Pee Paw's Truck lookin' Sweet!! My big ole belly won't fit unless it has tilt and telescoping steering wheel, but I love this old truck so much!
Thank you for your service bud.
Hammering on the leaf spring on the leg tho😂☠️💀 danger zonE!
puddin God bless you and you`re family thanks for always posting awsome vids i look forword to it every week
30 years of working in a salvage yard taught me that fiberglass handles on hammers don't shock ball joints lose as good as a steel or wooden handles do. Try it and compare. You'll see.
You might of shook your spray can too hard and caused the dip tube to pop loose so it wouldn't pick up the paint unless upside down.
Great show, my favorite, thanks.
Happy Veterans day puddin and thank you for your service...!!!!
I think your "Rattle Can Dan Can Shaker 5000" may have nocked the hose loose on the inside that's why she'll only spray upside down.
You wrote exactly what I was going to point out. Thanks 👍
Thank you for your service. I salute you. From a gulf war vet, awesome content.
Heck yeah another puddins fab shop video thank u puddin for the great videos I can't wait for your new videos every week
My older son and I were watching and enjoying this video when the younger son walked by, started watching for a minute and then asked (outraged) "Is he cutting up a longbed to make that shortbed?!" We're all in agreement that you do what you want with yours and I'll do the same with mine...but it was funny to see both reactions in the same living room.
Happy veterans day puddin, thank you for your service.
Hey Puddin, my neighbor is a welder by trade, he said the jacket the wire runs in gets dirty and can make the wire bind, I'd clean it out with I guess brake clean then blow it out good with air, he also said to put a piece of sponge on the wire before it goes into the jacket and that should keep it cleaner in the jacket, it worked good for me
#teamlongbed. Nice video as per usual Puddin'. Keep up the good work, thanks for your service to our country.
Looks great!! Needs a 383 stroker with a five speed manual transmission, just saying’ great video!!
Awesome project looks sweet. Your oldest daughter is going to enjoy driving that around. ( wink wink ) lol
The skit had me rolling 😅😂
Puddin putting trolls in there place 👍
His thin skin is showing. You'd think someone with so many tats it would've thickened up a little.
Served 6 years. Everything makes so much more sense now😂😂 Thank you for your service puddin
Shaking the paint on the sawsall has made the straw fall down so now it only works upsidedown
Good job on the slamming. Thanks for 2 hours of pure 100 percent enjoyment and laughs. I’d drive it. You the man.
🫵😮👍
You know your welds are only as good as the grinder in hand!😊
Im with #savethelongbeds
Damn that was a lot of work! Nice as always.
It is what it is and I believe it's a keeper. Good job pudding
😂😂😂that intro had me cracking up!!! Happy Veterans Day sir!! Thank you for your service, puddins regular arguments with the air compressor are probably my favorite bits in between all the work
Puddin, ambitious project! Very well done! Thanks!
Well sir puddin I'm a 61 year old grandma and I love to watch you
Heh seeing the wheel weight being on the outside reminds me of my favorite prank. We went to good ole O’Reily’s and loaded up on wheel weights and when someone would piss us off in highschool a quick boop and an extra wheel weight to rattle someone’s just a bit when they are rolling.
As a child of the 50's I should understand the lowering of vehicles. I just never have seen the romance. You do really great work.
I could be entirely wrong here, but I think if the spray can is only working when upside down, it's because your DeWalt Earthquake 5000 Paint Shaker done rattled the straw right off it. There's usually a tube that runs from the valve down towards the bottom of the can so it'll spray upright and use ALL the paint.
Just sitting here watching this video while my 18 month old Granddaughter is running around like a crazed Indian. She will stop every few rounds and watch you work for a few minutes. It tickles me to know she has good taste in TV. Keep up the quality shows Sir!!
12 years in the Green for me, Brother from another foreign Mother. You are doing the Lord's work. and we love you for it. Even Grunts in Australia watch your show. Keep up the great work!
Appreciate your service, great episode really funny. You need to puddin up those check caps
Really glad u took the time to demonstrate to the average person how to change bushings without that shop press u have back there 😁
Pudin I needed a smile today. Watching your video did just that. Thank you for that.
That beginning skit sums up the internet so well. People only complain when someone does something with their vehicle, they're always quiet when theyre for sale
As a long bed owner myself, I think its great that you got that truck back on the road. End of the day people need to realize that it is your truck. you can do whatever you want to it. I love it btw.
Hey puddin I’ve had to change my linner for my welding gun at least 6 different times!!! But I definitely weld all the time with mine and they do wear out!!! I actually just changed my hole gun setup this summer to a brand new Tweco gun and it is a much heavier duty gun and a higher amp gun!!! The place I got it at has been doing a sell on welding for guns!!! If you bring in your old gun and buy a new gun they take off over 60% of the price of the new gun!!! My new Tweco gun was just under a 1000.00$ and when I gave them my old gun it cost me right around 200.00$!!! Definitely an awesome setup and much heavier duty than my old gun that came with my welder!!! My welder is a big Lincoln welder with 400amp setup!!!!
Fair to say this was a piece of genius 👍👍
Its all hard work and tears until you drop her on the ground and see what you hoped. She did not disappoint!
My favorite way to do leaf spring bushings and other familiar style bushings is as follows. Drill rubber out and remove the sleeve. After that use a sawz-all to slit or cut the outer press in sleeve. Once cut they collapse on themselves and practically fall out.
Please read the whole thing. I really don’t like slammed trucks at all, not my thing. But, it’s your thing and I like watching it. You are very funny, and I really enjoy your channel. It brings me joy and I am so happy for your success. You deserve it. I’ve been a fan since……probably your first video. What I’m getting at is, I don’t have to agree with your choices to enjoy what you do. It’s your truck, it’s your show, it’s your style. Thanks for all the fun, you are a heck of an entertainer, keep building the things you want to build, that’s what makes this channel great! Also, if you want to ship to the UK, just put it in a box without tags, invoices or wrapping (like it’s just some secondhand clothes) and they can’t touch you. Thanks for the good times!
When you’re done with that primer can go ahead and cut it open. I bed that super shaker shook the straw off the inside and it’s just floating around in that can. So far that’s happened twice to me, that’s why I made a spinner out of a tall plastic water bottle and a long 1/4x20 and a few washers. It still mixes it a lot better than just shaking by hand. I’m digging that short bed! Anyone can see it’s a true labor of love! 👍🏼👍🏼 from this guy✌🏼
looking super nice ! My brother had a 78 chevy step side that he lowered and it drove great looked great and was super nice looking ! Like that movie Mother , Jugs and Speed !
I hadn’t thought of that movie in a long time!
Hope all veterans had a great weekend, I served in the Marines from 88-94, and I find it rewarding to watch and create TH-cam videos myself.
Suggestion make a chart of “gain” for your metal break, take a scrap piece of metal make a mark for your bend so if “zero degrees “ is the flat surface to the bottom of your work piece then the gain is 1/2 the radius of the bend it self, this will vary according to the thickness of the metal being bent, the “take up” is the loss in travel of the bend. Knowing these 2 things you can precut your materials and bend!
So you were over in desert Storm?
@@wp.sworld.s I was stationed in Japan during Desert Storm, as the next round to go over, but yes it was in support of Desert Storm, if it lasted more then it did my battery would have been sent over!
Ok cool thanks for your service I had some friends that were there during that time Line
Excited to see how it ends up next week. I want this truck
