When even your fast units are too slow to catch the wagons and the like.. It's gonna be an uphill battle..
Not gonna lie I'm kinda getting tired of seeing wagons and flagellants in every empire army.

It hurts my soul to see black lions still shooting at the edge of formations especially in light of magma cannons beaming units dead center.
I'm not a big fan of ranged chariot meta. Same with Scourgerunner chariots, these units that are too hard to kill for anything fast enough to chase them, so they just wheel around the battlefield all day, slowly but unexcitingly cleaning up value... eh. Maybe a range reduction? Can't be easy to hit anything at distance while your vehicle is hand-braking all over the place over rough terrain.
Gelt is an Ulric worshipper, though in game he leads Solland which is almost as hard Sigmarite as Stirland or Nuln.
Where did you get that he was an Ulric worshipper? Almost nothing is known about Gelt's personal life, and the only connection in the lore he has to Ulric is that during the End Times, the Ar-Ulric asked him to investigate possible daemon tampering with the Auric Bastion, which was built with the help of all faiths in the Empire, not just the cult of Ulric or Sigmar. As far as I know, Gelt has never even been in Middenland. As to why he leads Solland, my guess is that they had to put him somewhere and they didn't want to do another Volkmar move and have him start in Reikland, even though that's where he'd logically be because that's where the Colleges of Magic would be. And since no one else starts in Solland and they already have the golden colours and sun imagery, it was a nice fit for Gelt.

Come to think of it, it has been ages since I have last seen that slug monster of Nurgle. Why is nobody using it? Is it too slow and useless?
Yea he's a big pin cushion. Especially against someone like The Empire who has a dedicated anti-large missile infantry in Huntsman.
Daemon Prince of Nurgle is slept on personally, flying source of terror for Nurgle is handy, has regular spirit leech, miasma of pestilence is good for cav fights + spam nurgle passive, decent armor in addition to their physical resist, and a high HP pool to benefit from the healing spam.

I think a lot of people sleep on that Miasma of Pestilence spell. That -40% charge bonus and the -24 melee attack really neuters enemy cav and units that are about to charge into you.
how is nurgle even supposed to deal with this build?
I think that one cultist on a shrine might be good just for free healing, and if he gets focused you get your summons off even quicker.

Cloud of flies should be a BIG anti-missle buff for Nurgle.

Man we need Nurgle to get better, too expensive in my opinion.

Helblasters have such a huge problem with shooting the edges of formations. They're be so much more effective if they targeted centre-mass.

I really did enjoy watching the witch hunters. I am trying to learn to use them better in campaign in combat, not just as specialists. And you put on a bit of a clinic here. Much appreciated!
I dont know but when I play empire i always take one WH, even naked they almost always pay for themself. There are rly rare sytuation i regret i took one of them, also would be awsome to get one as LL.

wagons are a bit too prevalent, they should be more niche. When was the last time someone used plain old handgunners?

Probably pointless but what would be some suggestions you and the comp community would have to balance more of the other faction's rosters, maybe a video idea? :) Seems without hellstriders the chaos warriors are struggling..
Love double witch hunter! WHs are my favourite 3D figures from classic Warhammer Fantasy, tied with Dwarf standard bearer.

I feel like there's a dead-zone with witch hunters. They're great against big SEs where shots can be expected to reliably land and the penetration doesn't matter. They're great against any infantry they can reliably one-shot, especially if you can get them on the side of a formation. But I feel like they fall off against things like monstrous calvary or other multiple entity units that can tank a shot. They just didn't seem to be doing much against those toads, for example.
Definitely noticed i have never used a WH in campaign battles, only rarely in multiplayer battles. I have to agree, maybe buffing accuse again would help, or even giving them more buffs and debuffs would be nice. I would rather have an arch lector in the army then a WH hero. You get better melee and good magic. I've noticed hybrid units are either pretty good, or absolute dogshit.

I remember when all the effort to make these games were used to make Warhammer 40k: Dawn of war 1&2.
That's the best thing about the empire, they don't excel at anything, but they are the most versatile one.

Turin may have miscast this. . . you actually CAN'T win this unless you have the massive Schnozzle family trait, AND your had THE Thaddeus in your ranks (bone to an amazing 40k artist Baldermort's Guide to 40k *please seriously look this guy up, you will be taken aback by his professionalism, and he has soo many original stories to the lore that keep you waiting on a knifes edge*)
** EDIT Hey Turin My lad, reach out to Baldy and I bet yall can get a mini collab!!!** Introducing your fanbase to his and vice versa :) Baldy is pretty big over 200k and heavily focuses on 40k, but I know you guys sometimes go outside those lines.
