I've been an artist all my life. Mainly pen in ink as my medium. I recently started tattooing my friends. I'm having a blast with the learning curve of this medium. Skin is awesome to perform on. Thanx for tips given and verifying some instincts that I've had. Really enjoy the vibrations!
I line all my lines with my cheyenne thunder..... I line 9rl 13rl till 18RS for bold lines with no problem never had problems with it. If you stretch the skin well you can line with all different rotery machines out there, it’s all about the stretch and how fast your hand and machine speed is.
Heya! I want to say I appreciate the tone in your video. I think a lot of artists have a lot of pride, but the way you were honest about faults was great.
Turned out great! Really dynamic design and awesome use of contrast. Thanks for mentioning normal variations and to be open to try a different route! It's a much needed reminder.
can you do a video on how to read skin? ive done a few sessions where my passes scarred, not saturate, and also got scaly after peeling so im still trying to figure it out.
The toxic state of mind is to think we know as much as we can. I always learn something new watching these. I have a lot of those, "oh shit" moments. Hahaha!
I am no expert only been tattooing for around 4 years now but I have moved away from dry wiping as it really iritates the skin. Just a tip i soak my paper towel slightly with green soap and about 3 sprays of bactaine. Doing this gives you a less traumatic experience for the client while numbing the skin in toe.
@fireside tattoo network appriciate your videos! i'm apprentice for 1 year now. And my lines havent gotten better from when i started kinda untill now, i do and listen to everything you say in videos. But whenever i finish tattoo i take picture and zoom in, to look at what i could have done better.. And this is here where i see a consistant wobble at the line, no matter where it is, i can't find even just 1 good line in a big piece. So its consistantly bad wobbly lines, even though and if i feel my hand is not shakeing and steady.. I use a vlad blad pro liner, i stretch, i bend the needle, ive tried #12 rubberbands, and others, and hard nipple to put on or losser. My liner runs unloaded 5v 125hz. Any tips? i try to do different every tattoo just to check if i can fix this stupid issue. I would be such a happy man if i could fix this constant woobble looking lines, NOT clean at all..
Try a different machine a rotary for example it lines so much easier because it’s lichter and has no vibration. I line all my lines with my cheyenne Thunder from 1rl till a 18RS and hadn’t have any problems at all with it. Just saying
@@jurgen88krawinkel i have tried other machines, same problem. It's the other way around, its alot harder and worse to line with rotarys. there is a reason why rotaries are beginning to look alot more coil lin hit with armatur bar etc. "also this channel fireside teach us about the same thing". - The rotary machine is in the skin double as mutch without need, since the motion of the rotary machine. Thats why the coil machine is great, and dan kubin rotarys etc, because its so fast into the skin and back out without causeing thrauma.
@@simonkristiansen960 that’s your opinion , I don’t have any problems with my lines and I line over 3 years with a cheyennethunder. If you’re a apprentice in a shop , why you don’t ask your mentor what your problem is?

Would this technique be considered “packing”? Do you use packing for only solid black or do you use it for gradients too?

You dry wiped for 4 years.... Holy shit.
I use witch hazel in between wipes works great
Great vid. Curved or flat mag?
I've seen your video recommending dynamic black. What brand of needle carts do you recommend?
Go to your local shop im pretty sure they sell good brands of what you need 🇮🇹
try "kwadron" cartridges, nice construction and way more consistent than cheyenne, especially liners
@@mr.nobody9329 ive never seen a local shop sell tattoo supplies
Are those your paintings in the background?
What voltage for your shading sir?
sadly, you have to figure it out by yourself
Is all of the artwork behind you in these videos stuff that you’ve done yourself?
THANK YOU THANK YOU. HELPFUL !!!
This series is better then GOT latest season
Thank you! 🙏🏽
