We've had our 2001 7.3 for 20 years. 300,000 miles. Have not done all of this stuff to it. But we could take it anywhere with no issues; these vehicles are exceptional.

What’s the gas mileage on them. Personally that’s not a main concern since well I own v8s that usually truck gets me 10 or 9 in city to 15-17 in highway while car gets me 14 in city and 17 in highway. Both are reliable. One is a mustang gt/cs 2014 never had any engine problems up to date but I know that won’t last long. The truck is my moms but I treat it more like my truck since I do everything to keep it reliable and up to date no problems either but again that’s my moms truck it’s a 2008 expedition 2 wheel drive. But I want something close to it but bigger and with the 4x4 option and well it’s the excursion and I’m opting for the most reliable engine option it has and that’s a 7.3 but a bit expensive for me right now but I will get one in the future as my first truck that I will

@@Anonymous-jj9yu my average 15 to 17 mpg. These vehicles are worth the money, they are an absolute tank. Pretty sure our excursion will never die.

"the wold is going electic, I'm going Excursion". These words make me smile. I hate woke cars.

What a nice truck! My X just turned 389k on a stock Powerstroke 6.0. If you can hook
it to it, it will pull it. I wish I was able to take better care of it. She shows her age a bit.
    Keep on truckin'!!

It is beautiful. I have a few Xs. All EB with captains chairs, with 18" King Ranch rims. Final charge coolant and T6 Rotella.
Id recommend the 6.4 or 6.7 starter. It pops on.
Yes, I love showing people they cant cut me off on the freeway. Better MPG than my Tahoe, Navigator, and Jeep, with all that size.

I didn’t take the time to read anyone else, comments, but i’m watching this video at a year old you need to put a bigger exhaust on that truck. You need to put gauges on your truck you need to watch your EGT temps because you can smoke that engine and be careful what tunes you run on that truck? Because you could also smoke your engine reason why most people have a bigger exhaust on their truck is the stock exhaust wasn’t big enough to handle what was coming out and hopefully you have aftermarket air filter kit bigger is better you wanna feed that turbo the most and coldest air you can get into it if not you’re pretty much bottlenecking your engine with stock exhaust whoever built your engine and transmission most likely told you this if they didn’t then they probably should’ve and you should probably get you a ranch grill to put on the front of that truck. I’ve seen so many beautiful, rare trucks get smacked and destroyed, and if they would’ve had a ranch on the front of it or a bumper of timber size, they would’ve been fine

Mark, just curious why you're selling this truck? You've done so much to it. I really wish I could afford this!!

Excursion fuel tank has 44 gallon capacity, range can be in between 600 to 900 miles (if I’m not mistaken)

Around where I live to have a truck bulletproof and have the transmission built. You’re probably looking at maybe 10 to 15 grand
