You know do you know of any good diecast models of 1/43 scale you do. I order two tanks the Sherman and Tiger tank 1/32 for my display this December of the 80 anniversary of the battle of the bulge
Congratulations for the video and thanks for showing us the other models of the Zero Plane. I liked the details of the part of the pilot very well detailed.
Incredible kit, they really put a lot of detail in this kit, cockpit and pilot amazing. The two kits look fantastic together. At first the green was my favorite, but a tough call now. The fact they weatherized both is awesome. . Some of your fans more familiar with Pacific Theater of Operations, PTO, might know for sure, however Japanese Army and Navy had their own aircraft. I believe the Army used more green on their Zeros. Navy used a lighter color as It was more protective to seawater corrosion. Supplies for making paints were very limited and the two services were very competitive with each other. Your collection continues to be incredible. Thanks for sharing. If you had a model museum I'd certainly put it on my bucket list, Cheers until your next video.

Ah "Saburo Sakai's" A6M Zero (V-103). The Imperial Japanese Navy's Flying Ace, that scored 64 kills in his piloting career!! 😳😳 He was nicknamed the "Sky Samurai".
Thanks a lot, for this beautiful channel. By the way, in the tail stabilizer section, it reads "サワルナ(sawaru na)". Meaning: Do not touch!" Best wishes.🖐️🍀
I have two P51s that I hung in my patio, my wife wouldn’t let me keep them indoor anymore and almost threw them out. They look great out there now. I’ve been trying to get more planes of that size to hang but they’re very hard to find. Your Zero looks like the from the same brand as my planes.
We gotta see this bird side by side with the Pearl Harbor P-40. I collect G.I Joe's and have been trying to find aircraft to display alongside some of the '12 scale pilot figures I have. These are a tad too large put I love them anyway.
While my ability is limited, I do know one thing, the Kanji on the tail is the Serial Data, it is just the way Japan did it. A Japanese collector would have done the same for an American Aircraft.
Nice review! I used translate to see what that said and I think it says "Zero Type 1 Ship Battlefield", "Serial No. Mitsubishi", and 3rd line says "Date" with no numbers. Keep up the great reviews!
@@joaob7824 I think he attacked an airfield in the Philippines shortly after Pearl Harbor. Not sure these manufacturers did their research before some of these models.
They did also make 1/18 Pearl Harbor version- Carrier Akagi AI-154. It's pretty much the same as the one you have here, but with a red vertical recognition band/ different tail markings.
Could someone explain all the different brands of 1/18 scale aircraft? Like are they all made in the same factory or is Elite Force better quality? Also are they still being made?
Unfortunately they all went out of business. Main manufacturers of 1:18 were- 21st Century Toys, Elite Force, Merit/JSI, and Flight Wings (used 21st Century Toys molds). I personally like Elite Force and Merit/JSI models for details.
@Military Vehicle Reviews thanks for the reply, I recently picked up a 1/18 Elite Force and while it is awesome you can definitely tell it's more of a toy. I was looking at some Merit 1/24 scale aircraft, specifically the P-51 and Bf 109. What do you think of them? I'm trying to find the largest scale with the most detail.

If you crumpled up 18 of these models into one lump would it equate to a crumpled real Zero. I've always wondered on these scale ratios, same with a ship too. Can we source a real Zero & crumple it & judge?

I consider the Zero to be a more beautifully designed aircraft than any of its national counterparts, although its performance in its later years was inferior to that of any of its national counterparts.👍

Do you like this model or the Green one?
The model in this video is much more detailed and I like the regular white paint on the zeros
Nice plane, 4 minutes ago this was made.
Strange they call it "Pearl Harbor" but airplane is Saburo Sakai's at Lakunai Airfield close to Rabul (Solomon Islands)

The colors are an error. I say this because, that Kokutai did NOT participate in the attack on Pearl Harbor.
