FYI, the 12 triangle shaped pieces that support the over width deck are called outriggers. Nice work, very innovative. Thumbs up for sure.

A bolt has external means of rotating the fastener and designed to go into a hole and used with a nut or similar fastener or to go into pre tapped hole, a screw has internal means of rotating the fastener and designed to self tapping. There are screws with bolt heads and screws that are designed to be used in pretap situations like a machine screw.
