I got to watch this for the first time two or so weeks ago on a flight and it was a great watch, even on that little seat screen. I definitely want to get the 4K edition and watch it again!
I super recommend watching a 4K version! Everything really pops, it’s really become a comfort movie I throw on whenever I want to go about chores and just look up and see something pretty at any given point.
This movie was such a good time, man. The perfect example of a media where you turn off your brain and let the fun of it all make you happy. The movie is flawed, yes, but they can't and won't stop you from having a blast. 4.5/5
I don't even think you really have to turn your brain off! I honestly think the movie is saying a lot about it's themes and gaming through its visual story telling. Its sort of perfect because if you want to take it at face value you totally can but if you want to dig more into it I think it has a lot to offer!
