Neat video and review as well😄 I would say D&W were nice movie to watch and have good time with it . Yeah , there were Pros and Cons in this movie , however , it doesn't hindrance my enjoyment of watched it and I couldn't wait when it came out DVD or Blu-ray .

Do I think Pixar's ruined? No. Do I think Pixar's changed? Yes. It's gonna take a lot of adjusting for me to get used to this new Pixar, but as I learned from DreamWorks movies nowadays, I shouldn't get overhyped that Pixar makes a bad movie. If they make a good, or bad, or mid movie, then I wouldn't care if it ruins, or saved the studio. I would just express my thoughts on what the movie is, rather then saying it saves the studio or damages the studio.

Honestly had no idea of a lot of the behind the scenes stuff you mentioned, but personally, while I’ve always felt relatively positive about Pixar sequels and have wanted universes explored more, I also really appreciate latching onto something for a brief time and letting it be. I’d love to see a mixture of sequels and originals, but I much prefer sequels that seem to have a purpose, or at least be something that seems to be born from passion as opposed to cash

Super glad I decided to check out your channel, you bring up some really good points! Gets the brain thinking, and yes it definitely makes me concerned that this recent success might send the wrong message, but I believe that no matter what, people in this industry will always have that internal desire to not just pump out any random story that makes money but their OWN story. Something that they themselves can resonate with on a personal level and feel proud of. That’s something I don’t think any good rating can diminish, and it gives me hope. Miyamoto's stance on story is when he's designing games though. He's got to understand that movie making isn't the exact same thing when looking at his catalogue. And Mario's appeal is different from Zelda's. One's tone is more sophisticated and lore depth and the other being goofy and ecstatic. Of course they'll make action over story for Mario.

I got to watch this for the first time two or so weeks ago on a flight and it was a great watch, even on that little seat screen. I definitely want to get the 4K edition and watch it again!

I definitely felt like I would have followed along more smoothly had I seen Rebels more recently. Still, I liked the season, but your concern about needing to be familiar with the back catalog is only going to grow into a bigger issue with all of the plot points they seem to have set up with just this season alone. Whatever they do with Thrawn is going to require a LOT of backstory. However, if they borrow the Thrawn/Pellaeon dynamic from the books, they can definitely use reuniting with Pellaeon as a reason for Thrawn to tell some backstory, both as a refresher and to let people come right in to whatever this upcoming Thrawn story ends up being.

I am ok with it. Back in the days Star Wars was the IP for nerds. Now too many casuals started calling themselves "Star Wars fans" after watching some mandalorian or sequels or other mass media shit. If you read comics you know how it's done: you want to read one run - you should read ~20 other predecessors and tie-in runs that flow into the current of events for this story. That's how it is and that's how big franchise keeps itself going: new series comes, references to old series, so people go and watch old series too, and cycle repeats. Every nerd knows and plays this game. And if casuals can't keep up with it - too bad for them, we can just let Star Wars return to be nerd's property. And if this strategy will stop generating money for disney - even better, they can sell this IP to someone who actually loves Star Wars.

He man movie is based on the comic that predated the toy by a few weeks as it was meant to advertise the toyline, it was not quite right so they went in a different direction in the cartoon that came later. At least thhats my reading of Wikipedia
