Have you ever had areas on your skin that don't look quite right?
Did you get them treated or have you kicked that issue down the road to deal with at a later date?
Have you tried Efudix Cream? Did you decide that using a cream was easier than having to go through surgery at a later date if i got worse?
Share your thoughts and experience so that we can all learn and help others along the way
I wish you all well, much love Imi ❤ xxx

Ouch. You are one brave lady Imogen to go through the treatment and to post the video. I can remember holidays when I was a kid being proud of skin peeling off after being burnt in the sun. X❤

Oh my goodness Chrissie, I am just was just the same! Loving the time when it came to peeling off my skin once the burn had heeled. It was almost a competition to see who could peel off the largest bit without it breaking! I'm so glad that my grandchildren's skin is being looked after in the sun.
How is your granddaughter? Did she manage to watch the video called The LDN Story? I feel full of hope for her, it will be the answer to not having to live with an "invisible" illness. Nobody understands what it is like to suffer with chronic pain until it happens to them. Trying to tell people how debilitating it is, is like describing blue to a blind man. Have a lovely day Chrissie, Imogen x

It wasn't a good time for sure and was terribly painful but eventually it healed. I think it's going to be an ongoing process unfortunately

Well done for starting your channel and for posting the video of your treatment. It looks like hell to go through but you are proof that it’s just that - something you come out the other end of and that it’s worth the temporary suffering. I’m starting my channel tomorrow and had already decided to do a no make up intro as my skin looks bad from either the inflammation of PMR, or the Prednisolne, I’m not sure which. However, a few red lumps and flaking is insignificant compared to what you’ve been through. While my channel will not be about PMR (Polymyalgia Rheumatica, I will talk about it at some stage as I’d appreciate it if others did. The only person who’s had it and talks about it on TH-cam is Sandra Hart and I was grateful to her for doing so. It’s consoling when someone who’s come out the other side speaks of it. Anyway, I wish you all the best with your channel and hope you receive lots of joy from it.

Thank you darling and good luck with your new channel! I will keep an eye on you to see how you're getting on for sure. Efudix treatment is by no means a walk in the park but I am proof that you can come out the other side relatively unscathed....albeit I have to keep on top of it every so often. Happy New Year darling girl, Imi xxx🩷

Chrissie that's brilliant. All we can do is spread the word, then allow people to make up their own minds. The worst thing to do is sit back and know someone is suffering then do nothing. You and your granddaughter have been on my mind this week. Please keep me updated and if there is anything else I can help with just say. Imogen xxx

I’m a bit like you - had a cancerous tumour removed this September (breast cancer) and I wanted to see it, but they wouldn’t let me. I’m just wondering does the cream clear up the brown spots, and does your skin look clearer afterwards. I have brown patches on my arms from cycling and a little scabby tag on my nose that keeps reappearing. I totally overdid the sun when I was younger - lashed on the baby oil and literally roasted myself. My Dad has had a few removed over the years and I’ve similar sallow skin to him. Sounds great if you can avoid them taking little chunks off you.

Efudex doesn’t clear brown spots but it does clear off all the historical sun damage. The little scabby tag on your nose is concerning though and I would suggest you get it looked at by a dermatologist. I had something like you describe on my back, had it removed and it was a squamous cell carcinoma. Or It might also possibly be a basal cell carcinoma You can’t really take a risk with your health darling . Go get it checked out , much love Imi ♥️xxx

Ciao cara amica! Sono Giò da Milano-Italia
