I had same issue more than once where previous garages changed everything but still not charging it was earth strap also with starter motor too ( very good video )

You did not show us if the battery light on the dash started to work correctly when the poor earth was fixed! x

Do I have to pass your exam, test? When the alternator output voltage is available at the battery posts, the battery warning light will be off.
