Thank you so much for this! I've been wanting to get a tattoo in an authentic viking art style. I've seen a lot of vegvisir tattoos and stuff, but I want a tattoo with a more historic and authentic feel. Who knows what their tattoos really looked like, but I bet this raven would fit right in!
Thank you! My pleasure :) One of my favourites is probably the Broa style, but the Ringerike style is well documented and seems to be widely popular. So I thought why not start with a series of tutorials on that and take it from there :)
Kunne du lave en video, hvor du forklarer logikken bag formerne, f.eks. i oldegyptiske vægmalerier var hovederne altid tegnet i profil, mens kroppen var mere eller mindre set fra fronten?

My pleasure! I'm sure there were a few raven tattoos around in the Viking Age similar to this design
These are amazing and your book is Incredible! Thank you for sharing. Is Ringerike your favourite style?

By the way, is this an original design or was this found somewhere?
It's an original design, inspired by historical designs like the motif on the Heggen weather vane: twitter.com/VegardVike/status/1108518149606068225

Ja, altså lidt ligesom jeg har gjort i bogen?
