    Thanks for this. Those torque values are real and I will make sure to get that right. I am getting up the nerve to do this job because inside an 1989 22RE with 110k miles, the dirver's side chain guide has disappeared completely and the chain is slapping

    So how did you get the hidden bolt in that goes thru the top of the head to the top of the timing cover.

    Are you positive its thread sealer and not sealant (RTV) on the oil pump bolt?

    What kind of spray did you use on the timing cover gaskets? my gaskets started leaking XD now I have to do it over again.

    What manual are you using? Engine looks clean man. Im doing some research trying to do this on my first toyota project truck. Im a little scared but the video helped alot. Thanks man

    Have you found much leakage where the timing cover meets the head yet?

    Big mistake reusing the cam chain gear, also you should have used a METEL timing chain guide, the plastic ones are GARBAGE!

      The metal guides will cause major damage,thats why toyota dont use them...

      @@preacher031163 Toyota DID use metal guides in early 22r engines. They switched to plastic ones. Metal ones are supposed to be superior
